  1. I'm interested in this too. I'm 50/50 whether to do my rims. I love the gunmetal/bronze look. Pure sex.
  2. Koenigsegg CCX Now featuring gay pedo fantasy as standard
  3. It can take 14psi, but it's risky. 12psi is safer but on stock ECU will likely hit rich and retard (esp. on cold nights) and kill performance. 10psi i'd recommend because it's safe. The car will also rev out in any weather and is better for boost spike scenarios. Remember even on 1 BAR boost the turbo will be fine. It's just excessive heat that kills the compressor turbine i.e. during track days/hot days.
  4. This is a MUST!
  5. *all a 19 y.o. can afford*
  6. Hi mate. Congratulations on getting married. I've read the thread and seen some great and also very sh!tty advice. From what you've been told, my experience and your needs i'd say get a JJR split dump from Just Jap ($270) and a turbotech boost controller off Ebay ($30-40) and crank it to 10psi. You will get 'noticable' gains from these without much compromise. Take it to a local tuner and ask for a few power runs to see what power you're making ($60-80), and also how the power curve looks. You might be able to have your timing advanced slightly (c. $100) to squeeze out the most power from your setup. This second step is optional but can give your power delivery an improvement. It gave me 10rwkw. Other parts within the budget (like FPR or SAFC) aren't necessary as either the factory parts are sufficient or the gain will be minimal. So that comes to a sensible but effective $480. Put the rest of the cash in your pocket and take the wife to dinner
  7. My favourite Oz GTR. It's bloody epic. Thanks for the effort to snap the pics and upload! You're photographer's eye is sharp Keep it up Matt.
  8. R31 Nismoid is spot on. You'll most likely spend forever working out what it could be. There's so many components that can get tired and reduce performance. A dyno run and some analysis by a tuner will tell you what component is tired in a few minutes and isn't expensive.
  9. Ooohhh, food sounds good. Pad Thai from Bamboodled in Parra ftw! Good meeting you Jeff! Will be good to continue the convo at the next meet. Nick good to meet you Hope the coilovers go well and the Stag goes from boat to train! Catch you next time. Gotdamn wtf are you on about Leave the weed alone Dr. Spliff! Will get to meet you at the next one, if another Tsunami isn't forecast. No need to introduce yourself, i'll hear you coming lol. That's an automatic requirement of this thread!
  10. My mate does 12.2 in a 280awkw GTR, with 4WD problems. He could do even better. Isn't it 5-10% ethanol? Not recommend for your car, can damage the injectors. A one off? Then i wouldn't worry.
  11. "Clever thinking 69"
  12. What about catching Super GT? It's in the Shizuoka Prefecture @ Fuji Speedway. That's on my to do list.
  13. Gotta love how SAU'ers always revert anything sane to complete f**king lunacy
  14. I'd invest the 2 mil and live off the dividends. At that price motorsport can get f**ked
  15. Engine bay looking awesome Any reason you didn't include any other gauges in the cluster? I ask because i'm working out a guage setup for myself too!
  16. Think long and hard before you do that...
  17. Thanks Dood(z)! So Jetstar it is...the railpass is a Japan wide thing? Sounds like an awesome idea to get around- seeing as i'll be coming from Osaka I deeply apologise for point blank thread hijacking But i'll book flights and we can eat sushi and get drunk together
  18. CRD having a poke around the new platform's chassis and power/drivetrain is already putting them ahead of the other Oz tuners. They'll have more direction in part development and tuning just by having it on hand IMO. CRD appear to be pretty khuneckted
  19. Nobody could have survived the crash (it was on Old Windsor Rd, Winston Hills. Two cars severely mangled) Good to meet all you guys tonight. Yeah weather sucked ass but that's bad luck, Albert can organise another meet with a weather forecast attachment, or i'm out Hope Thornleigh Maccers tastes as good as midnight food can taste Signing off peeps. Working in the mornin'
  20. What's COlin Buckley and his entourage say to this?
  21. 'CALL DR. POOF' He'll make you feel better.
  22. I can feel the excitement. Don't blow your turbo man!!!
  23. Thanks for the post. I thought parallel (never having owned one) would be better??? I'm a TT noob, could you explain why the parallel setup on an RX7 would reduce response? I know with sequential the smaller turbo gives quick boost, followed by the larger turbo for top end- but it they run together what real-world effect does it have?
  24. Spend $250,000 on an R34 GTR, full race trim, dog engagement 'box, rollcage, carbon fibre panels, forged N1, race fuel, titanium manifold/exhaust etc etc and what do you get? CCX =
