It's got nothing. I gave it a boot full and still no turbo, I checked the intercooler piping 2wice before starting up Could it be the standard solenoid as I have just unplugged it? Also because the wastegate is set to 19psi? When I give it a good revving and back it off the wastegate isn't doing anything.

I haven't tested the piping on the inter cooler but will tonight, it's a t3/t4 eBay ones. I would be able to feel it/hear it if it was the inter cooler piping???

Car is drivable and blow off valve is working, feels like I'm driving a non turbo car, it's not shuttering or dropping off when accelerating

Hey guys, I've recently installed a top mount turbo kit I purchased off eBay a while ago (2nd hand). Since I've installed the kit I have no boost, it's an oil feed only turbo with a 46mm external wastegate, I've plugged the water lines up and doesn't leak. I've put the manual boost controller between the turbo and side nipple on the wastegate. I have the fitting on the top of the wastegate venting to atmosphere and just plugged up the vacuum port that goes to inlet manifold. I've unplugged the boost solinoid and taken it out (plug just sitting there) I was set to believe the setup was running 19 psi, I have the stock ecu in at the moment till I can get the apexi. Wastegate spring too high? The boost gauge is not boosting past 0 Beside all that I have touched anything else Any help would be good.

Na it hasn't always idled rich, it just dropped off completely when It was driving.

Oh and on the 3rd time of stopping and starting it the starter motor has died. 2nd one this month

Yeah placed my hand up near the exhaust and it had hardly nothing (remains of what was built up) I did have a aftermarket remapped ecu in it.

Well I was just looking threw all my stock parts in the shed and found my old ecu. I decided to plug it in for fun to make sure it wasn't it, bingo it works!

Could someone help with a link to check boost leaks, all the videos I have seen you have to have the car running which I can't do

Yeah I have gone over the whole engine bay, could this be the work of a dropped coilpacks? It's just weird how it was fine at the start then all turned to crap at the drop of a hat.

I sprayed it around some vacuum hoses to see if it would alter the rev, I've had a vacuum leak before when the boost controller bearing fell out and it seems different.

I just had a look under the bonnet and just sprayed a little bit of start ya barsted. It started and stayed running, running very rich though. It sounds like it missing really bad instead of hunting for an idle. Fuel pump is working fine too.

Last week I was driving my r33 gtst and suddenly the car stalled, when I tried starting it again the idle was all over the place and black smoke was coming from the exhaust. I've had a look and play with it and have swapped the spark plugs out with (bcpre6s-11) or what ever they are and re gapped them to 0.8. Once i put them in The car started and idle was hunting, I didn't drive the car. The next morning I went to start it and it fires up then dies straight away, black carbon and oil is coming from the exhaust. I've replaced the afm, plugs and had the injectors looked at and passed. I have a few mods Intercooler, air pod, forward facing plenum (not greddy) Walbro fuel pump, super spark coilpacks, toshi ecu, has ssqv bov. Has this happend to anyone?

Im not sure if this has happend to anyone but once i installed my forward facing plenum my car it begun to miss real bad, runs really rich, missing on idle, back fired really bad going do the road, car is shaking really bad and feels like it wants to die. Mods I have 3" exhaust Hks bov Greddy style plenum Fuel pump gs043 or whatever Super spark coilpacks Air pod Boost controller (10psi) Tashiki stage 1 ecu upgrade Afm,plugs and coilpacks where not touched during the install. I did Press firm on the tip of one of the injectors but surly can't throw it out this much?

It runs really rich and black smoke when give it a little rev.

Could pressure on the injector while it was out cause this? A bending of one of the prongs that are on the tip of the injectors while they were on the bench do this?

Takes a good 5 sec to get the car started

I only adjusted the AAC valve plugs on the loom

Hey guys, After installing my forward facing plenum on my r33 gtst the car is missing, backfiring and shaking struggling to stay alive. Iv checked for vacuum leaks, bov seems to be working and fuel isn't old. Could it be My AAC valve air feed line from intercooler piping has a slight kink in it? Afm,plugs,coil packs haven't been touched. Injectors were taken out and flipped but I tried to handle them with care. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Thank you, yeah as soon as the air box goes on its perfect again. My problem was that the intercooler piping bloked my snorkel off that sits under the bonnet so my airbox is just sucking warm motor air. I just want an airpod that won't make my car run like crap. They have cai setups on eBay for $149 but I don't want it to do the same.

when the pod is on it it makes the sucking noise till It hits boost then it's good. Til the boost comes on it just has a lack of pull like a vacuum leak. The pod is bigger then the afm. Will a 3" pod stuff the afm sensor around? Thanks Alex
