  1. Need a R33 (or maybe Z32, R34, Stagea, GTR perhaps?) tailshaft yoke or tailshaft. Putting a R33 RB25DET gearbox in my S14 and need a tailshaft or yoke to modify to fit. PM me if you have anything.
  2. Willing to separate just the gearbox with shifter and crossmember?
  3. Chasing a RB25DET R33 gearbox, let me know what you have got.
  4. For reference, I run second hand ($150 off ns.com) pedders comfort gas shocks and lowered springs on my S14 and put down very competitive lap times at mallala. Coilovers are over-rated
  5. The best way to find out if any modification is legal, Andy, is to call SA vechicle standards, their number is 1300 882 248. They are more than happy to tell you anything you need to know, and you know that what they tell you is 100% correct, not just hearsay from what people read/hear on a forum.
  6. Got a mate chasing a set of coilpacks to suit RB25DET R33 Series 2. Stock or aftermarket (ie splitfire) are fine. PM if you have any.

  8. Chasing a BM44 ABS brake master cylinder, usually found on R33 GTS-Ts. PM if you have one. Cheers.
  9. Did the car have ABS? Interested in the brake master cylinder, if its an ABS BM44.
  10. Cables from the shoes to the handbrake lever would work if its from a R33. I'm trying to convert my S14 to Skyline rear brakes and I only have R32 handbrake cables, which require that little extension piece from the handbrake lever T piece to the cables, but as far as I'm aware R33s just go straight from the shoe to the T piece without those extensions, which is the same as how the S14 operates. So either R33 cables or the little extension cables to the T piece is what I need, if that makes sense.
  11. Chasing either a R32 complete handbrake lever assembly, with everything you see in the picture below.. or a pair of R33 handbrake cables.
  12. I know its not a Skyline, but here is an incar clip of my S14 at Mallala not long ago. Pretty slow times in the video, it ran out of space on the SD card during my fastest lap Oh well, enjoy.

  14. I've been using Federal SS-595s on my S14 for a while, onto my second set. I cant really rate them out of 10 since I havnt tried many other tyres, but they are very very impressive and never cease to amaze me. Great value for money, just a bit average on wear life. I have ran a 1:23.49 around Mallala on worn SS-595's in my 170kw lightly modded S14, which for any that know the track, is right up there with people running $400+ semi slicks! Great tyre.
  15. Insurance?
  16. As others have said, a Nistune is just as good as any other aftermarket ECU, if not better. A good tuner will connect the ECU to a laptop with proper software to display all the readouts (and more) that the PowerFC HC does, heck if ya get the software you can do it yourself and tune on the fly, just like a PowerFC. Only thing is the Nistune will always need a AFM (as far as I'm aware?), where some ECUs like the PFC Djetro dont need one, which _could_ be a limiting factor in making big BIG power.
  17. A mate of mine has a R33 GTS-t with R33 GTR wheels running 235/45 all around and its sits very nice. Do it.
  18. Wouldnt go any wider than a 225/50 tyre. Ideally though 205/55 (stock size) is probably best, otherwise you will get too much sidewall flex when cornering.
  19. This is true. A 9.5" wide rim is only a touch over 24cm wide, so anything wider than a 245 in reality is getting into overkill. The wider profile tyre you put on, the more the tyre is gonna balloon out over the rim and will probably have a negative effect on overall grip (cornering particularily, as the sidewall flexes). Hope that helps.
  20. Hey all, I'm looking at buying a Stagea, and I was told that there are two different versions of the NEO RB25DET found in Series 2 Stageas. The newer models (00+), seem to have silver writing on the engine cover, whereas the older Series 2's have Red writing. Heres a couple pics to illustrate what I mean.. Taken from this NISSAN STAGEA RS4S on Sinergy Motorsports Compare this to.. Taken from this Stagea on Redline Motorsports.. I was told the silver one has different turbos to the one with red writing.. can anyone confirm this? And shed more light on what exactly the difference is? I'd never noticed it before until looking more specifically into these cars, but its potentially worth noting. Cheers.
