i need a bit of work done on my r33:the turbo, suspension, engine management ect. all have to be put back to stock, i have most of the stock parts already. where can i go in adelaide/northern suburbs to get this work done wothout getting ripped off.

spotted a silver 350z massive intercooler on milne road. this is the first turbo 350 ive seen....very nice

this car was actually the feature car on high performance imports issue 54. deffinatley not a true gtr. he has used a 4.5l v8 from a nissan Cima. so this video would be maybe 4-5 years old.

morpowa redrilled and put new studs in for $500 about two months ago when they fitted my turbo. id say in would be cheaper at boostworks.

word around says that tillbrooks has a bad rep for blowing cars up on the dyno. i was going to take mine there last time for a tune and i had at least half a dozen people tell me not to. whats peoples thoughts on morpowa?

the cop had no idea what he was talking about because all he wrote was 'engine emitions(turbo pod, wastegate)' and thats all he wrote. every mod in my car is well hidden so he just defected me for two bullsh.t reasons, as my wastegate is internal as well. but anyway ive just bought a stock turbo today, so il deffinately change suspension and exhaust. i was just a bit confused because i wasnt sure if regency would look over the whole car if i got done for just the pod and the wastgate, but it is a skyline so they probably will. bushings were sounding a bit worn last time i drove it, lets hope they dont do me for that. i would have got defected probably a few months ago, but i still havnt got any letter about EPA testing. cheers guys

i empathise with you on this one, i had an egg thrown at my car around this time last year. it was a 38 degree day, by the time i found the egg it had ruined my paint. so i forever see this stupid egg mark on my car. very annoying....

on my defect notice the cop did me for engine emitions, so im just looking for someone who has been through regency to tell me if i need to definatley change my: turbo, ecu, exhaust, z32afm, pod filter(the cop put this on the defect notice) and coilovers. should i change all of these back to stock? i would really appriciate some advice which ones should i leave on, or should i just pull all these parts off and make it stock.

i was just wondering how hard it would be to swap my gt30 turbo for a stockie, coz i have to go through regency soon. as i understood there was just a spacer placed on the manifold to fit my gt30. has anyone done it without taking it to a workshop. might give it a go....

Apparently i have a friend lol. Im aware that my car was defectable, but it is annoying when you put so much money and time into making the car inconspicuous and you get pinned. im not stupid either im aware that sapol are very closed ranks and that any attempt to attack a police officer would be a one sided affair. i can be tactful while alerting them to the problem

i only got the pod filter secured on a bracket a few weeks ago when i got my turbo put in to avoid gettn defected for it. all the mods on my car are very hidden including the power fc unit. the cop couldnt find anything hence why he defected me for bullsh*t mods. i am going to make an official complaint, ive got the sheet. I had my mate with me so he can back me up with what happened. but it's true some cops pull me over to check if the car stolen and then they would usually say 'nice car' or something friendly, but unfortuantly i got an arsehole.

One of my mates that had been defected a few weeks ago were in the car, he was explaining that an internal wastegate was needed, but the pig said to us if we say anything else he'll book me for something else. i was coming down milne road toward mcintyre road, he was behind me on milne but decided to follow me then pull me over down the bottom of mcintyre. i went to the cop shop right after it happened i gota a blank stare from the stupid bitch at the counter, so i just said get me a complaint notice. Im just really pissed coz my car will be off the road for ages while i source stock suspension, airbox, take out power fc, avc-r, turbo....ect.

Im pretty sure police are on a rampage atm with skyline owners, three of my mates have been defected in the past 2 weeks without giving the police a good reason to pull them over. my car is deliberatly kept looking modest to avoid this kind of attention from police. but last night for no apperent reason i was pulled over and defected for an internal wastegate..wtf?? and my pod filter, the copper missed everything else, but chose those two items as he had no fu**ing idea. im so pissed off with this crap. unfortunatly for all of us there are some people that are complete tools that have given skylines the stigma they now have. So yeah watch out people, it looks like they will just defect us coz we have skylines. or i could just buy a holden or a ford and have the gear box fall out no thankyou...
