  1. Hey people I'm after a blown R34 GTT Turbo. Let me know if anyone has anything. Thanks
  2. Hey people I'm looking for R33 GTS-T coilovers, height and damper adjustable preferably. Something along the lines of Tein Superstreets. Let me know if anyone has anything. Thanks!
  3. Hey I've got a stock R33 S2 exhaust all the way throught but it has a cannon on the end of it, interested?
  4. I was going to buy this turbo off him... but when dealing with him I found him to be strange and backed out of the deal...lucky me I guess.
  5. Anyone??? I'm putting the box back in tonight...
  6. Hey fellas, I'm in the process of changing my clutch...and have just taken out the spigot bush. It was a bitch to get out... I tried all the methods of packing the hole with gease and trying to force it out etc but I just ended up just destroying it with a pointy punch...and it came out with no issues. Anyway I'm wondering if you need to pack grease into the spigot hole (the hole where the spigot bush sits)? I have also put grease on where the thrust bearing sits is there anywhere else that needs to be greased up? Thanks
  7. Have a look in the pics, the clear tube is the boost gauge, its hooked up to the same place where the avc-r is getting its reading from.
  8. The intercooler is one of the cheapies from Just Jap and the airfilter is a Apexi Power Intake, also got a walbro in-tank fuel pump. Really it is not running 13psi when it makes 186rwkw... its really running 11psi. Also I got the car tuned by Toshi on the forum. AFRs are in the 11's and sometimes dropping to 10.5.
  9. The exhaust is a 3" stainless steel dump x-force I believe and the catback is 3.5" mild steel also x-force as well. Also all gaskets were changed when the exhaust was put in (about a year ago), there are no leaks. Is there somehow I can check if the cat is a hi-flow cat?
  10. I dont think that the avcr has a boost limiter setting... these damn avc-r's are so hard to setup properly... And I know that 186kw is too low thats why I posted this topic By the way my exhaust is a 3" from turbo and 3.5" catback. Could it be that I dont have a high flow cat? I bought the exhaust 2nd hand and not sure what cat it has...
  11. Guys, What is happening in my car is that the boost is dropping off. The car is a R33 S2 with a std turbo and a Apexi AVC-R boost controller and I have the boost set to 13psi and what happens is that it hits 12.5psi and then 13psi at about 3500-4000rpm but then after that the boost starts to slowly come down and before redline it goes all the way down to 11psi. Now I had the car on the dyno and the difference between standard boost (9psi) which was 176rwkw and 13psi which was 186.7kw. I think the problem is that the boost is dropping off because at the top of the power curve I'm only running 11psi...hence the poor rwkw result at high boost. Any ideas what could be causing this? My guess is that it could be the avc-r... but any other suggestions? Thanks
  12. where abouts are you located? I see vic number plates but just checking...
  13. Man I cant believe you are selling this! This car is really clean guys and is a good example of a well maintained R33... Someone should snap this up quickly especially at the low price!
  14. I can highly recommend this tune, I just got it done last weekend and the difference is amazing. The car feels really strong and has absolutely no flat spots, it feels like a whole new car. I am yet to dyno my car to see how much power it is making but it feels very healthy! Thanks Toshi!
  15. just get toshi to remap the ecu dont risk getting a ebay ecu...
  16. Ive changed my plugs to BCPR6ES and they are gapped to about .85mm, I've got JJR coilpacks aswell, I've got a Apexi pod (thats about a year old) and its not dirty at all... I've checked most things so I think it comes down to this being rnr...unless there is something else i can check???? I'm planning to get toshi to remap my ecu... do you guys think it will get rid of this flat spot?
  17. The iridium ones i took out (i put these in about 10,000 kms ago) were pretty fouled up so i guess copper ones are the cheaper alternative...
  18. Ok I got BCPR6ES plugs and threw them in and took the car for a spin just quickly and it looks like its not missfiring anymore... But I will need to drive it more to make sure because sometimes the missfire would be tempremental.. But what it's still doing is running shit from about 4500rpm all the way to 6000rpm and then it kicks in hard. Do you guys think this is rnr? By the way I'm running standard boost and its going up to about 9-10psi cause its a cold night and exhaust, intercooler.
  19. I'm just thinking could this be RnR? Because i would find it hard to believe that the coilpacks would have shit them selves after a few months use and i have changed the sparkies too when changing coilpacks to irridium ones... The missfire or popping under acceleration usually happens on a really cold night, the car also feels like it has a flat spot from 4500rpm to 6000rpm and then from 6 onwards its fine...
  20. Another question... how do you guys gap the plugs without fooking them? Just tap them down with a small hammer?
  21. Thanks guys, I'm going to try new spark plugs gapped to .8mm
  22. I got new JJR coils, they shouldnt need to be taped...but i guess if it stops missfirring when they are taped then this just means they are arking out then they are fooked... My plugs are gapped to the standard irridium plug size which is 12mm i think. But they shouldnt need to be gapped if i got new coil packs rite??? They should be strong enough to make the spark jump accross stock gapped spark plugs?
