  1. I reckon a nice small touch would be some nismo floor matts. The difference nice black carpet, red stitching and a sweet emblem makes is amazing to making the 33 look more modern inside IMO
  2. is $8,990 a typo? I'm hoping so.
  3. Does that Amber tail light mean it only brakes with the inside lights Stupid Nissan Australia! Way to kill the hotplates
  4. SAU certainly has some excellent examples of skylines!
  5. Haha I knew it would turn to a flame thread unless I was clear on the type of rim! Yeh the tires on the rims are rooted, so Ive got the chance to start a fresh and make sure it all fits correctly on my car. I think I'll run a 225 up front just to be safe. And I am thinking a 235/30 on the rear rim (9.5inch wide). Thats the plan atm, trying to keep the rolling diameters sorta close between front and back (throwing a 225 on 9.5 inch rim isnt a good idea imo, so ill have to go bigger at the rear) No the 245 doesnt bulge atm, the wheel is slightly turned in the pics, making the tire look like it sits further under then it really does (when straight)
  6. I definitely wouldn't go 2 inches smaller on the front. Placing these things next to my current 18s makes them look like 16s. It would be too bigger difference. 19 up front, 20 on the rear I have seen done before. But honestly its all work to chase up. 20s all around is easier, because i already have them Sure I cant lower the front to the ground, but considering I get pulled up nearly weekly and checked for ride height, that doesnt bother me. This car is a daily, so i cant slam it and camber it as much as I'd like
  7. Thanks! Haha yeh everyone hears 20s and thinks "GAY". Thats ok i generally do to. But I must admit, these 20s I couldnt resist. There is something stupidly attractive about the proposition of black 20inch meisters on my car. Im going for a new look, so the wing will be coming off and replaced with some carbon fibre touches here and there
  8. I do have Teins in the car... so once I get the wheel clearing I will play with ride height to make em not scrub on the guards. I am hesitant about griding the control arm. I know in reality its an easy fix but its abit of a last resort for me. I will run 225/30 tires on the front, and I am hoping this will provide the clearance I require. Will keep you guys updated!
  9. Im trying to keep the rolling diameter legal. Its possible for the front, but it would mean I would have to run a 225/30/20 on the 9.5 rears. Haha. Stretch much?
  10. Hmmmm. It appears 225/30/20s only increase the rolling diameter by 11mm over the standard 225/50/R16 rolling diameter of the 33. If I add in some stretch and some spacer-age... and I think it might just fit. Haha I know this will cop "dont put 20s on a 33"... but they came up so I snapped em up. Sort the fitment out at a later stage
  11. Hi guyyys and Grrrrls, I had stupidly decided to purchase some new rims for my car which are Work Meister S1's: 20 * 9.5 + 25 20 * 8.5 + 25 Now the rear fit snug as a bug in a rug, just teasing their lip out of my lightly pumped guards. Issues arise with the front however. The rolling diarmeter of the rim seems too large for an R33 to cope with. The tire in the pics is a 245/40/20... so I am intending to run a 225/30/20 with some stretch to pull the rolling diameter back abit. That said, the 245's on the rim are worn to the belts and therefore I am skepcital of how a 225 will go with full tread, considering this worn out 245 still rubs. Now, I was considering a 10mm spacer to pull the inside of the tire away from the control arm, AND a 225/30/20 with abit of stretch in the side wall to increase the gap. However, I'm not sure it will be enough. Has anyone else run into these issues with stupid 20s? Suggestions? Does anyone know if aftermarket control arms are available (I had a quick look, but didnt see anything) Pics of my problem....
  12. Sorry guys. Been a crazy few months personally for me. Flat out. Therefore pics have been slow coming. But... here they are!
  13. Oh and the tire on the front atm is a 245/35/20 I think. I wont go that wide on the front with the new tire, which will save me some space... but the new tire will have tread aswell (where thisone is down to the wire), so i fear it will even itself out abit there!
  14. Yeh im worried this suspension arm might be the death of me! I took some pics to show it. Hopefully with a 5mm spacer on the front and a stretch say, 215/30/20 on the front. But turning still might pose problems, and I think full lock is out of the question lol. But I mean come on bulk people have fitted 20s before to 33's (all be it chromies ), surely there is an easy solution. Aftermarket suspension arm (thats less bulky)?
  15. Got some fitment issues up the front. 20 * 8.5 +25 rims. The wheel is physically too large in rolling diameter and is rubbing on the top suspension arm. So I need to hit the drawing board. Anyway the test fit... What are you guys thinking? Improvement or not? I am going to slam the car back to the ground with the new rims, remove the wing, and try and line up a carbon fibre duck wing and roof spoiler. I think the new rims need a new look...
  16. Hopefully Kubica shows some great pace again this year... he is the only driver who can really mix it with the top 3 teams. Hopefully he scores a decent team in the near future and IMO could really be a title treat in 2 -3 years
  17. ^^^ haha. Saves me posting it. Cheers!
  18. I'll definitely whore the tread with some pics once they are on and once its slammed. Should have some ready for next weekend
  19. I never thought I would rock 20s either. But here I am Time for a DUB sticker, and a cheap blingy 20" badge with diamonds for the sides
  20. Oh yeh will definitely be going lower. The rolling diameter difference is huge! Gonna slam it, wing off... carbon lip and carbon rood spoiler The 20s just look ridiculous. Too big probably, but hey... why not have some fun once in a while.
  21. New ridiculous look for my car 20 * 9.5 +25 Work Meister S1's. Unsure what the front offsets will be, pick them up Monday Quite obviously not slammed/cambered yet
