  1. Took delivery of my Exedy Heavy Heavy Duty Button clutch today. Hopefully the thing will allow me lots of fun with zero slip. Anyhow I noticed the pucks are quite thin on their 'meat'. Not alot of room for wear (especially considering the rivets will start hitting well before the whole button is worn down) I was wondering whether other brands of button clutches have thicker pucks. Anyway, I took some picks to show how thin the material is, for those who might be interested. I used the match stick as a reference, it was spare of the moment ok
  2. I have an exedy Heavy Heavy duty button on the way. 1400kg of clamp (3000ish pounds) for 550 bucks. Should do the trick for me (260ish rwkw)
  3. I think he pulled around 290rwkws with his 3071R set up
  4. If you are happy with 250rwkw and loads more response, the HKS GT-RS is an option. For the money tho, I would prob go a GT3071
  5. You just need more power to spin the rear wheels better
  6. HKS SSV... everybody loves them right?
  7. I wouldnt wait until it delaminates to get qualify for replacements. How f**king stupid is that! Its like saying my new bottom end has a knock, and waiting for the piston to exit the block before doing anything about it.
  8. Dooooooooooontttttt doooooooeeeeeetttttttt.
  9. Excellent. Good news. Did you ask exedy for the upgraded GTR pressure plate? What does it cost? Well if its doing 325rwkw ok then my power shouldnt even make it break a sweat. I'll order one shortly
  10. I can answer that for you. Nearly identical setup as PM... and my Cushioned exedy button @ 250rwkw very quickly wore out with decent launches and some clutch popping My car cant even chirp second anymore lol. Glad we got onto the subject, any recomendations? I have been told exedy make a heavy heavy duty (yup, thats right, double heavy) non cushioned button that should be fine. I can get this for 500 bucks.
  11. I dont get how you 170rwkw 33s are pulling 0-100 in sub 5's. Thats porsche/ferarri/lambo territory. With double the power and similar weight. And they get loads of traction, the standard tires are wider then my cars 4 tires laid side by side I personally would take the gtech readings with a grain of salt
  12. Reppin' Plazmaman
  13. I'm only running 1 bar. I think there might be another 20 or so rwkw in the GT-RS. Either way... my clutch is dead now
  14. The light comes on when there is no oil pressure (or very very low) so it will come on when you have no oil OR if your pump shits itself The standard nissan oil pressure recommendations can be found on this site, just do a search. Either way, the standard acceptable figures are lower then what 99% of skyline guages show
  15. They sound tough I really think my only shot at you is through first and second with a good launch lol. I'm not sure im running the 255rwkw the dyno says
  16. It looks try hard... very very try hard. Real grills look terrible too IMO. Its just looks like its trying way too hard to look like a super car, when in fact, most of the real supercars go for the 'less is more' approach
  17. The only part I dont like about the C west kit is the rear bar, where the moulding angles down just after the rear wheels... Hot 34 tho
  18. I'm def not racing you anymore
  19. I am (nearly) a lawyer. To be honest alot of people are fairy thankful for the assistance they receive in most matters. Hell if you wanna stand up and do a few months jail instead of asking for representation, so be it!
  20. lol if it had 2000hp perhaps
  21. Hmmm yeh mine does look pretty poor down low. A comparable car to mine is PM-R33, and he has dyno graphs lying around here somewhere I think. It ended up with around 263rwkw on 20psi i think. Still, I always thought my gearing was shorter, and now i know it is!

  23. Nope, thats my limiter! (thats actually my car reving to 7200rpm in 4th gear on both dyno runs). Dont ask me why, but its got short ass gearing. Maybe it has shorter diff gears then the standard 4.11s, or the actual gearbox has different gearing (I think it might have some straight cut gears, whines like a bitch) Either way, thats all the way to limiter (7200rpm) in 4th on both runs. Something aint stock Unknown dump, RSR 3.5 front and 3.5 from the cat back from memory. Still running a cat too, but its getting on now and is cracked and shitty. Still, pulling ok figures i guess
  24. Take your pic as to which one. without over laying them I think they are pretty close for two different dynos Keep in mind this car has HKS cams which should increase midrange (plazmaman plenum, some head porting). For that reason its up to you whether you add it or not, considering you are looking more towards stock engine turbo upgrade comparisons?
