  1. If the wheel has hit the honeycomb material in the cat there is a fair chance its done some damage. It can very easily collapse and be pushed to the rear of the cat where it becomes lodged. Cut the cat off, fair chance your problem could be lodged there
  2. I guess thats the turbo gaining RPM and then not returning to its normal spool speed as the momentum is still rotating it (hence why people use turbo timers, to give the turbo time to reduce its RPM) Very strange indeed. No blocked cat or something like that choking up the whole car?
  3. Is that all ... I undid 3 of 4 nuts with my fingers
  4. was auto headlights an option? Coupe or Sedan?
  5. I had to put the heat shield off and walla. Could move the turbo up and down. Once it was all back together its amazing how quickly it builds boost. I guess over time you dont notice your reponse slowly dropping... Thats probably the more extreme case, but the little lugs just couldnt keep the nuts in place.
  6. Could be many. I had the same noise though and all my bolts holding the turbo to the manifold had worked lose and the gasket wasnt sealing. Luckily the gasket was still fine and a simple socket on the bolts fixed my problems Check all your gaskets for one.
  7. pffft... I lost my scrotum years ago to oil
  8. Mines debadged totally at the rear except for the SKYLINE. I like the look, I didnt have a choice in it though it was done before I purchased.
  9. Some really good pics in there. Pool table shot is my fav
  10. Whats the benefits of the NISMO duct over the standard duct? Looks huge compared to the stocko so does it scoop a larger amount of air and direct it or?
  11. Does the blitz LM require ANY cutting of the reo bar? (The just jap copies do thats why im asking)
  12. Wow, if only I could swap all the parts I want off this car. The rear bar is so great. Not interested in separating the LEDs and going back to standard tail lights?
  13. Lol nice car. Wrong plates. Its a 35 not a 36, and we all know it aint a gtr. Imaginary car, perhaps?
  14. Mate you have to actually unscrew the light assembly and pop it out to get into the bulb. You will need a 10mm socket from memory. There is 3 or 4 nuts. Undo them, pull the light out (with cover attached) and your away.
  15. Lambo sure know how to style a car. Awesome
  16. Very soon be illegal in QLD? Change in standards? Thats a pitty because they apparently spend alot of effort in obtaining approval and I was very keen on getting one eventually. Any word on why they will no longer be legal in QLD? You are correct they are QLD approved.
  17. Blits Bodykits in Qld make fibreglass approved hoods for many models including the R34. I say just go with one of them
  18. How slow were you going when trying to push it in. Most cars dont go into first very easily rolling, but if you had to completely stop them imo thats not normal, no. I can get my R34 box into first without crunching pretty easily when still rolling

  21. Will a cut in aftermarket sunroof affect compliance by any chance?
  22. whats wrong with it. obviously abit of damage?
  23. Joe. Thursday night, head out and follow the crowd. The lap track goes from BP right over on the Northside all the way over the bridge and into the mall on the southside. Plenty of skylines, supras, other imports should be out. I gather you will be driving a Skyline?
  24. That would be unreal. And the price for the laps, extremely reasonable. Its like when you order a steak bacon and egg burger and get the biggest burger of your life, all for 7 bucks... you keep going back.
