    Gtr V Lf-a

The LF-A to me looks abit try hard. At least nissan stuck to their guns. Aggressive, powerful and non conforming. The LF-A to me is trying to look like a poor mans lamborghini
  3. All the events you just named happened under controlled, supervised, official events. Im sure there was enough thought into what could happen and as you mentioned, barriers put in place to protect. The wheel is unfortunate and very hard to protect against. Ad into that, there would he paramedics, fire crews etc on scene ready for an incident. In this case, i doubt any were on hand in readyness for a problem. None of them are comparible to a charity event on a suburban roped off street imo. I dont want to start a fight, but i dont think im being harsh by saying driving a 3000hp funny car on a city street with a few thousand people standing behind rope is stupid. Driver and organisers combined. And we dont really know the full events to just blame the organisers. Was permission from the appropriate authorities given for that car to actually be on the road? if not that comes down on the driver. So therefore, illegal car speeding on city street killing people, in anyones language = serious charges. Just my opinion, but more and more in this world people are trying to palm off their own actions and place them on another.
  4. Yeh i understand everyone points the finger. But come on, probably a 3000hp drag car on a suburban street, surely if he can pilot it to 6 second 1/4s he can work out for himself the situation (approved by organisers or not) is stupid? or am i giving him too much credit?
  5. to me i like that he was helping charity. but surely he could have done it in a safer way? im not sure how drag cars go with line lockies? (might not give enough air flow to cool the mental engine) but he was dead set rocketing on that road. that speed in a car that has trouble keeping straight on a specialised purpose build drag strip can obviously be very dangerous on a standard street. i think its a silly idea from the start. sadly innocent people were killed. not signed
  6. honestly to kill 6 turbos in how long (probably a couple of years) there MUST be another issue. No small kinks in any oil lines? Man, if i kill one im gonna cry, 6 and i would have given up and bought a v8
  7. maybe all the wheel nuts had just been cranked majorly tight and the studs snapped? surely you cant drive out with no nuts on, surely lol
  8. its not properly attached there is it? just a sitting shot for a quick pic?
  9. i would say the colour in the first pic is vastly different looking to yours dude
  10. lol what would lock nuts do? all they do is stop buggars pinching your wheels with a standard wheel brace they aint no better at holding wheels on!
  11. that car is amazing
  12. Ah true. I love the 33 rear haha. I think its the best of the lot! well the drags were fun on friday night. Plenty of good smoke shows and plenty of good times. Great night out!
  13. i would like them for my car. ads a nice touch i believe. exxxxxy though
  14. dude... look what you did
  15. yeh chris getting harder and harder with such cars
  16. decided against the GTR then DECIM8? keeping the GTT and making it a weapon?
  17. I had some spark issues. My coils when pulled out look brand new! mine was all fixed with some new spark plugs
  18. 32s look great. but I definitely think saying they havnt aged is a bold statement. IMO its starting to look extremely old, however, it still looks tough. That said, when compared with "modern cars", i dont think you can really say it hasnt aged. Even 34s now look old imo
  19. black smoked. clear looks good also. i went clear but mine isnt as dark so the smoked looks abit out of place on my silver
  20. Yes. Mickey Thomspon ET Streets. Limiter launch from my V8 5 ltr commie drop the clutch and they wouldnt spin, they actually killed the cars revs and made it bog. Unbelievable grip. Mine cost near enough to 600 bucks for two, 235/50/15s. Keep an eye out on ebay, there was a batch not long ago that had the MT print stuffed, so they were clearing them for cheap as chips
  21. looks like this car has ended up in rockhampton?
  22. my apexi is only cat back atm. Hoping it gets more of a growl with a full system
  23. Wing is just in my bedroom. Can go back on whenever. In the mean time, some duct tape is plugging the holes. I like the no spoiler look, always have. 34s looked too boxy from the rear with such a boxy wing? Dunno i might throw it back on when im keen for a change. Yeh red hill was a good spot, i got a thousand more that turned out pretty well
