we are from rocky. Im generally there most meets with either my commie or the r34 now days. My coil overs led to bad wheelspin. abit hard i think lol. Could spin all first after a bog down and coming back on boost, then all second, chirp 3rd and chirp 4th over the line. dunno how it did it haha stocko clutch wasnt expecting it to hook up so well! yeh its a base figure. my times were terrible but due to the launches. but im just aiming for 100mph with a full zorst and up the boost to 12psi. close to 100mph anyway. and hopefully a high 13 with a good launch.

Hehe that would be my 34. its got cat back. thats the only mods it has. i was doing 2.6 60fts... couldnt get any traction or it would bog. i ran 93mph dude and thats holding 6psi boost. just to give an indication the r33 was running a garrett gt3017r i think, front mount, zorst, boosted to around 8-9psi i think. he was pretty dissapointed i think. But yeh im dead stocko to be honest matey i was expecting to get wasted hehe. love how low your car is. plates definitely apply

screw that. im considering electronic rust protection for my 34. dunno if it really works or not though. if its gonna rust its probably unstoppable by now anyway. salt on roads lol, bad compromise

depends what side your looking from lol. standing from the front, looking at the engine, turbo side is the right side. from in the cabin, they turbo side would be the left side lol hopefully its the power ball... thats gonna give me bulk money to piss the rb25 out of there! -

definitely turbo side of the engine. havnt tried it yet i got dropped to work today. didnt wanna drive it and cause any damage. its defnitely from the turbo side of the engine though -

hmmm it isnt a air style noise. Hi pitched, metal style Like possbily a wheel touching or something while its spinning. Its there and then not. Loud then quiet. I dunno -
Pulled up at my girlfriends tonight after a short drive from my house (like 5 mins). Had warmed the car up before the trip and was just pulling to a stop when i noticed a weird sound. Doesnt go away when the clutch is in. Oil pressure is normal (i think its what it normal is at at idle) Anyway it sounds metallic, kinda a rattle. Like when the powerballs go around in their clear sphere when the lotto is on tv lol. Its definitely from the turbo side of the engine, around the turbo somewhere. It can be heard from in the cabin (much clear then with the bonnet up), and its also clearer with the bonnet down listening with your head near the guard (cuts out the fan noise) I did a search but nothing seemed to match what im after. Car is manual, GTT, 60 thou on the clock. Cat back and pod, stocko boost. Anyone else had this problem? Its inconsistent, as in doesnt have a set rattle, it goes and comes and is not repetitive. Maybe turbo bearing? Hopefully not engine bearing? You gotta listen kinda hard to hear it with the bonnet up and that goes for in the cabin aswell. Any help would be great/Ideas to try and rule out

yeh no heating troubles mate its constant and normal just below half way. was just using it to dress up the engine abit

I would be interested in them for an R34. As long as the quality is good Will the Carbon Fibre have the gloss/top coat over it like the bonnets do?

Haha thats the best video ive seen in ages. In short... my car will never cop that much punishment. I wish it did, but i couldnt afford to break it lol. So yeh, i can understand that sort of punishment will find the limits of the standard cooling system haha. but lets be honest, mine only does the daily job and sometimes cops a first to second gear. nothing really I might put it on yet..

The R34 GTT comes standard with a knock light? cool thats good news for safety Knock is caused by detonation, which can be caused by leaning out/too much ignition timing. Dont quote me on this. Its not healthy and if you got a good ear you might hear a pinging noise, hard to explain, have you been playing with the boost? Or running low RON fuel?

awesome. I read somewhere that most nissan turbo models run 1.2 bar stocko caps anyway and the non turbos run 0.9.. Mine clearly says .9 and as far as i know its all stocko. Oh well might make a good paper weight at work or something. Thanks for the reply!

Hi all, I just bought a R34 GTT and have purchased a Nismo Radiator Cap. I am hoping to make the engine abit more visually appealing. However, the nismo cap is for 1.3 bar, where as my standard cap releases at 0.9 Bar. Im just wondering whether or not i should actually use it, as this is quite a large increase in pressure to my cooling system. Any ideas and feedback would be great. I just dont want to damage or cause any problems to my cooling system just to have it show the Nismo logo. Cheers Grant. PS i searched but couldnt find any topics to fit my question

i noticed people in this thread talking about oil temps. My r34GTT never goes above 80 on the standard gauge. just wondering as this seems pretty low compared to the 100plus figures here
