  1. Definately going to be unique. Post lots of pics for us.
  2. Nice black R34 GT-R on Bourke Rd this morning - Heading North.
  3. Corner warrigul rd and princes fwy this morning around 10.15ish this morning. Silver R34 GTt or GT-V sedan - Driven by a guy, possibly of Indian decent on green P plates Had a "shopping list" on the doors, Nismo front bar, riding high on 18" or 19" "bling" wheels and mexican offset why oh why?
  4. Nice boat.... I mean R33 - Welcome
  5. You might have to go genuine nissan. The guy at the dealer says it is the same as the early model 350z/v35/maxima (non-brembo) - don't quote me on that though. I just bought the rotors from nissan and away I went - no issues.
  6. Or a good secondhand boot with the same colour or opt to respray.
  7. I see one problem here... that's a really bad hairstyle..... Some TE37s will fix that... Seriously - what about the hundreds of cars (including Australian and Euro) out there with factory privacy glass for the back....
  8. I think that car is dodgy... why does it have a GTt badge.. when it is an N/A. Maybe rear ended (therefore new bumper) or someone wanted to rice it up...
  9. Hi all, I'm about to go and get all my shocks replaced. Will i have to remove the boot lining - when getting the rears done? Reason being I'd rather remove it myself rather than the mech.
  10. ^ nope not Malaysia - Malaysia is RHD. Plate number looks - like from the middle east...
  11. I'll keep a look out. Just wondering was it from your house or a public place like shops? Quite hard to keep track of skylines in the northern subs. So many of them.... Hope it gets found.
  12. For a late night/early morning booty call
  13. I had no issues last night - I was in the city and doncaster areas till 2am... Actually surprised of the "lack" compared to a "normal" Friday night... Good timing I guess :S
  14. Keep the 'line for weekends/bored and buy a comfy and reasonably priced daily...
  15. I think putting in a DEt engine is much easier than making a DE+t
  16. Not such a crazy idea.... but it's gonna cost and be heavy. RD28ET from a late model patrol into a skyline would be interesting....
  17. I've never been on any motorcycle or any other motorised 2 wheeler. I just came back from Taiwan, where I've lost my 2 wheel virginity - I was a passenger on my friends bike - It was a "vespa" style scooter. She sure know hows to ride. Weaving in and out of traffic at 40 to 50km/h is pretty hair raising... I know it's a "vespa" - but I definately come to appreciate how you motorcyclists feel. It's just fun, so free, with the adrenaline of almost getting cleaned up by someone's blind spot - have to be alert. Now I want to ride solo!
  18. 100% agree with you. The car isn't worth much. It is just the demand on "P plate legal" Skylines (or any sporty car) that pushes the price up. My advice for the OP - nothing wrong with the car - but paying the price of a turbo for a non-turbo car is un-fair on you IMHO. Dealerships and people in the know are ripping off P platers. End of the day your money, each to their own etc....
  19. Rear muffler is the same. - Mid pipe is a different length
  20. The price is high becuase of market demand. Think about it - the criteria this car has. - Coupe - Manual - Big brakes - Skyline - R34 - P-plate legal Probably the ultimate n/a R34 setup straight of of the factory. Easiest car to eventually turbo charge (if you decide to) - as it is a manual and has all the support mods needed for a turbo - such as big brakes.
  21. Spotted 1 black R35 GT-R and quite a few V35/G35 Skylines here in Taipei, Taiwan. Since it's a LHD country - the rest of the "fast" cars are 350/370z, EVO and WRX - hi-po euro sedans and coupes and the odd lambo, porsche, and ferrari - I've seen more "expensive" cars in Taiwan than in Australia. By the looks of it (I'm gonna sound like I'm stereotyping) - these drivers have poor driving skills and don't seem to care about gutter rash. Too many people with too much bloody money... I'm not jealous... hahahaha
  22. Bit off topic - wasn't the RB designed for competition use in mind?
  23. I'm going to sound biased. I love my R34 4 door, for me I needed the practicality of boot, space and comfortable rear seats. Another thing that is annoying is when rear passengers get in and out of the rear in coupes - bit of a hassle as the front passenger needs to get out etc. I guess people don't buy coupes to transport 4+ people anyways. Nothing against coupes - If circumstance didn't matter I'd have an R34 GTR.
  24. Lots of V35 and V36 (Infiniti G series) here in Taipei city. And a few 370z too.
  25. I think you guys should ring around the different dealerships. I can't speak for the V35 - but I find parts for my R34 are quite reasonable... I go to Greensborough Nissan. I've also been told Melbourne city Nissan is pretty good - I've never bought any thing from there though.
