Xiao Ting Box offers this too - xiao long bao - not sure how it compares to Hutong - I've never eaten at Hutong though - might have to try it.

X-Trail/Rav4/CR-V - not too bad for rear seat space - cargo area reasonable. Forester is more car like and has a better look/stance - but as you said it could be cramped in the back seat. Another option could be the Honda Accord/Toyota Camry - both are great on space. Not sure if your mum wants an import, but the m35 series stageas look like a good value option too.

For R34 non-turbo (excluding GT-V) I'd imagine R33 non-turbo is the same - but best double check. Front DB 1308 (same as Mitsubishi Triton ute, Nissan Maxima A32, A33) Rear DB 1144 (same as Nissan Maxima) Calipers between the maxima and skyline are different - but the pads are the same. Maxima (front) seems to be larger single pot caliper - but the Skyline (non-turbo front) has 2 smaller twin pot caliper. Rear calipers are the same.

The standard for most desktops out there is usually Symantec, Trend and McAffee - Which tend to take alot of resource and I'm not a fan of their consoles - but have to admit Symantec beats the rest for ease of deployment. "Microsoft Security Essentials" is the best all round - it's free if you have legit Windows from XP SP2 onwards. Excludes all Windows Server versions - So don't waste your time - I already tried What I like about it is that it integrates properly with Windows - being a Microsoft product. Uses minimal memory and updates via Windows update - it's just "easy" for any noob and very fool proof - some people may dis-agree with me - but because its so light weight and un-intrusive - you will not have issues with end users always trying to disable the whole lot - instead it is kind of modular you an set exceptions (which I found I never had to do). I had to "acid" test Microsoft Security Essentials for my workplace and for some of our clients (I'm a Systems Engineer). I can definately say MSE beats the other AVs for locked files and deep registry infections. The only issue is that installation is quite manual (not centralized like Symantec) - It doesn't have a console and is not yet recognised by many large companies. You can get the MSE in the flavours below. XP SP2+ (32-bit only) Vista (32-bit and 64-bit) Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) Fingers crossed Microsoft will not make future versions of MSE bloated. Key example is AVG - It used to be light now it just sucks

Best to buy a whole set now and change them all. The others are not too far off from failing.

Xiaoting Box - 371 Victoria St Abbotsford (North Richmond) VIC 3121 - (03) 9428 9588 For under $15 you will have a good feed of dumlings - steamed/fried - whatever.... and a can of soft drink They also got other chinese food too. You may have to book for Friday and Saturday nights it gets very busy - it's not essential to book - but highly recommended if you want a seat at these times. All other nights and lunch times lots of available tables. Food there is excellent - I go there for lunch there quite often. But Friday nights it's crowded. I recommend the fried prawn and pork dumplings with some fried rice. nom nom nom

That's a nice piece of motoring history right there. 25k though...

It all depends if you are running the xenon (HID) version or the halogen version of head lights - There were 2 types of headlights available for the R34. xenon version are adjustable. halogen version not adjustable. xenon was available on: GT-X GTt-X GT-V (optional) GT-R (optional)

OMG - In the quest to look for pictures of brunettes and skylines.... I came across this. Type "brunette skyline" in Google and click the first result (I best not put a link - cause it ain't safe for any situation) All I can say is that white R34 needs a rear wing and some better looking wheels..

I thought all R31s were efi ???? -
^ Summed up very nicely. Keep the Hondas on the roll/boil - they are great - twisties/country roads. But a quick car day-do-day (stop-go traffic) probably not - until you really rev them - usually you will be already passing the speed limit by this time I forgot to mention I've driven a friend's DC2 Type R - Low to mid RPMs it feels pretty strangled but once you reach the "vtec kicks in yo" the tach just flies to the limiter - this is what I was refering to as peaky - It's all about keeping the revs up and keeping it there.

R34 Gtr Vspec 2 Nur Vs R33 Gtst

Or an R33 GTR with some mods -
Come'on guys enough with the personal bashing. Everyone is entitled to their opinions of the engines regardless if its good or bad - whatever... There is also nothing wrong with some personal opinion (input) - even if it doesn't directly answer the question - as long as it is not false - It's all up to the reader.

Torque is where it's at. (maybe) the Honda can push out 30hp extra - but at such high RPMs - which doesn't make it all too great in comparision to a competeing car with the same engine capacity. Majority of stock engines out there designed to have max power earlier in the range as opposed to "peaky" power like Hondas (and corolla 1.8 sportivo). Essentially the Honda will feel quite weak untill you really wind it up (this is where it will shine), therefore other cars will generally feel more stronger on the low to mid range. Personally I'd rather have a car with better low to mid range power - as it will always be "on tap" as opposed to something which you will need to rev quite hard to keep up with other makes of the same engine capacity.

I think he was refering to the run of the mill Skylines - GT, GTt, 250GT, 300GT, 350GT etc. I thought the V36 Skyline is still in production..... :s

I prefer brunettes/black haired girls.... thats because I've only been with azn chicks I dig blonds too - just depends on what they have to offer. ... so I decided to go to the darkside and do some research on NS.com --> (NSFW or anyone that prefers men) ---> http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=439360 .. R33 Gtst Rb25 - Won't Start Without Use Of Accelerator
iseekool replied to hylian's topic in General Maintenance
Could be an air temp sensor problem. Is your mate running a pod? If he is - air temp sensor may have been disconnected. Another problem could be a faulty tPS (Throttle Position Sensor) -
Here is a good thread to read through --> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Da...nt-t237048.html

I'm guessing the stock factory privacy glass for the rear is around 10% - You can still see a slight shadow from the outside. But at night time and low light you can't see anything from the outside. Visibility from the inside looking out is pretty good. For tint suggestions - Rear side and rear windscreen - go as dark as possible 10%??? - It doesn't really matter. - Front side - 20% to 25% - Front windscreen - No tint - It's illegal - However since all other windows will be tinted the front windscreen will end up having the effect of becoming darker from the outside - as there is less light coming from the inside out.

RB30 isn't really meant to be revved hard. However it will have much more poke in the low to mid range in comparison to the RB25 and RB26 - Which will make it easier to drive on the twisties. I'd say around 7500RPM would be a safe limit - even at that RPM you would be pushing much more power than the lower displacement RBs. There really is no replacement for displacement. Another thing to consider "if" you ever decided to go turbo - the RB26/30 will be able to spin that turbo much earlier in the rev range - which will make it faster overall.
-
Regarding TB upgrade. You will lose low end power. High end gain - but you will need exhaust, cams, ecu and injectors to make use of it. Waste of time IMHO - unless you want to go all the way. The nissan engineers have already thought it all out...
