  1. I got R34 GTT stockies on mine - look quite tough with the center caps off
  2. Correction - it is $1 for 2 mins NOT $2 for 2 mins.
  3. Love the wheel combo on the midnight purple.
  4. I wash mine at a self serve place called "Pitstop" on High street Reservoir - near the KFC and Caltex. $2 for 2 mins. Reasonably clean bays, the soap seems nice and strong especially on Tuesday nights - I'm guessing this is when they re-stock. They have hand wash service during business hours and weekends - but I've never used them for that. Tends to get 'crazy' busy, especially when the weather starts warming up. Anytime after 10PM it is deserted. I usually wash my car there after a night out - around 2AM.
  5. Before storing. - Change oil - Change coolant - most important - Change brake fluid - Give the car a good wash and wax - Have around 1/4 to 1/2 tank of fuel - this will allow you to fill up with better fuel once you start driving again. - Slightly over inflate the tires to prevent the tires from deforming - Check the pressures 1 a month. - Start the car for around 15 minutes once every month - rev it up lightly during the last 5 minutes. Hope this helps
  6. I wish i found this 4 years ago
  7. Spotted a white r34 gtt coupe this morning on Bourke road, we both stared at each other as I was going the opposite direction. From my vague memory it had an ARC front mount intercooler.
  8. I'm guessing there is a "memory wire" (+) that should connect straight to the battery and not via the ignition...
  9. Put on a suit and tie - Go as 007 Minimal effort required
  10. ^ spot on to the post above - no power will be gained - the engine will still be the same. You will be taking load of the engine - which will help response - but I imagine the response gains will be tiny for the money spent. But if budget is not a concern definately go for it.
  11. 33% coolant is fine. Just make sure you are using the green coloured coolant. I personally use the castrol stuff (radicool) - but I don't know if there is much difference between brands.
  12. oh sh*t
  13. Spotted an black R32 skyline coupe (could have been a GT-R) in a garage while touring around Taiwan (Tainan City) - the car was on jack stands, had no wheels and very dusty - like it was not touched for years - literally (like a hidden treasure). Very odd considering cars in Taiwan are left hand drive only and right hand drive is not permitted. Got me thinking what it could be for/or was used for - looked quite stock.
  14. Is it really 2.5 hours to apollo bay from geelong? Feels much quicker than that and that's taking it quite easy..
  15. So happened to spot a white R35 GTR here in Taipei, Taiwan - too fast before i got my camera out....
  16. Depending on how long you left it, oil can sometimes separate/settle. Give it a change along with your oil filter. If you are going to store a car for long amounts of time it is highly recommended to change all fluids before storing it.
  17. Stock xenons. Not the best on wet nights - contrast is poor.
  18. That was me - you got a really clean car there I saw that "hoon spec" statesman tailing you pretty bad at Regent - he pretty much cut me off The stove top lights sure set people off
  19. Black r33 gts-t coupe with Advan wheels. Around 1.30am. plate number "jnrzan". Cruised from Fitzroy to Regent.
  20. I setup mine via AUX - The FM transmitter is not good.
  21. White R34 4 door with Nismo front and CF\black bonnet. Saw it twice today. Morning along Bourke Road north bound (around 7.45am) and in the afternoon along Doncaster Road east bound (5.15PM) - Flashed my headlights. Beautiful asian girl driving. I'm in love
  22. To my knowledge you cannot buy the RB20DE versions of the R34 as it does not meet the minimum power to weight to make it elegible for import.

    Hoon Squad?

Hmm sounds very dodgy. Especially since he told you to get out of your car so soon. Usually they let you sit in your car - I'm guessing for their safety and for yours - while they do some background checks/paper work. They always ask for your licence or some form of ID.
  24. http://www.pure.com/products/product.asp?Product=VL-60905 - The Australian version is DAB+ not DAB - but the physical unit is exactly the same.
  25. No intsaller required - You mount it like a sat nav - the wires are annoying. The unit will either transmit via the built in FM transmitter or via an 3.5mm AUX/headphone connector. I did a hidden setup whereby the unit is in my glove box - this prevents "most" of the wires being exposed - but makes it a pain to change stations.
