  1. Looks mint, but I'll think about it (I have to factor in respray costs etc.) and get back to you - if I decide to buy it. Thanks for that
  2. Just wondering if anyone here is using/listening to digital radio in DAB+ format. I got myself a Pure Highway digital receiver for my car - Sounds brilliant - definately better than FM in terms of clarity, but not as good as CD. Some stations unfortunately sound like low quality MP3s - you can notice the compression. Is anyone else using any other brand of reciever for their cars?
  3. I keep seeing this White R32 GT-R in Moorabbin area "NSMO32" or "NZMO32"
  4. Does anyone have Bilstein part numbers for a Non-turbo R34 sedan - running standard height?
  5. Could be the how the actual wiper was returned to the spline. (not being aligned properly)
  6. Love white cars
  7. Spotted a White R34 GTT coupe with LED lights - WANZAI or WANZI... Along Warrigul rd around 8.30.
  8. Hi all, I'm after a stock R34 Gt-R front bar and lower lip - In pearl white (QT1). Minor scuffs that can be rubbed out or scrapes that cannot be seen are OK I do not want a damaged item. Cheers Mark
  9. I'm gonna be watching this thread. Well done so far
  10. Saw quite a few skylines out at Mt Buller over the weekend - mainly R33s - 3 maroon, 2 silver (one of the silver ones was an r33 GTR with NSW plates). Saw a silver/grey R32 and a white R34 wingless sedan drive past when I was in the shops at Mansfield.
  11. NGK platinums - stock from the nissan dealership - $14 each - That was 1.5 years ago.
  12. Black R35 going north bound along Warrigul Rd around 8.15am. Plates "GTTR"
  13. R34 GT does have an LSD as an option - Its on the original R34 Skyline brochure from Japan - RB25DE models only .
  14. It's your alternator belt. I had the exact same problem. Tighten it to factory specs It caused the the massive drain on the electrical system.
  15. Spotted a Yellow R34 GTR Vspec - Plate number 34GTRV (or something like that - I can't remember) - Had a quick chat at the lights - He is on these forums - Along plenty road at 2.30PM. Dark blue R33 gts-t sedan and black R32 gts-t coupe at Northland Autobarn.
  16. I'm using Castrol GTX 3 15w40 - nothing special and meets specification the stock rb25de actually only requires GTX 2 equivelent, but since I change it so frequently it seems to suffice.
  17. '83 Bluebird FTW
  18. Is this compatible with an R34 sedan?
  19. I bought my car out of compromise - it ticked all my boxes. - I always wanted a Skyline (Back then I had no clue about a GT-R) - I was 5 at the time - When I learned about the GT-R - I wanted an R34 GT-R - Strictly as a dream car. - When I was 19 I was after a V6 commodore/statesman - I needed something reasonably comfortable, reasonably priced, preferably auto for practicality (but yearned for a manual when I wanted to drive sporty), had 4 doors, take on long trips, had good performance all round, good on fuel, reasonable to maintain, something that is not embarrassing to drive and can drive on my Ps. - non-turbo R34 Skyline 4 door came into view - seemed to have everything I wanted and to top it off it had tiptronic for wank value It's the best car for what I needed/wanted I've been off my Ps for over a year now - and there is no way I'll part with my non-turbo skyline - it's the best "all rounder" Having a turbo is the bees knees - but I've been so happy with my car I've kind of got attached to it
  20. So how I "understand" it the non-turbo auto would be better suited to aftermarket ECUs - if that's what you intend on doing...
  21. Is the auto trans control on a non-turbo R34 separate?
  22. Your spot on mate. I don't intentend to get any extra power - but if I did get more its just a bonus. Just something with lots of torque at lower RPMs like the european cars. My question is because i'm not after any big at all, will the stock n/a components be enough?
  23. The DE+t has crossed my mind lately (I have an R34) - but i'm not really after getting more power - I'm after a more broader torque curve tuned mainly for long distance/twisty roads. The type of setup I'm after is something like the XR5 turbo/VW golf GTi. Low boost and high compression. Assuming I do not want to go past the 147kw (stock n/a output). Would I be able to keep it mainly "stock" including ecu etc? All I would need would need is a SMIC and turbo with some custom piping? I know this has been covered before - but mainly for power gains. My intention is purly just for strong toruqe at lower RPMs with the boost cutting out as the RPM increases. Cheers
  24. R35 GT-R brownish/green cruising along Nepean Hwy city bound, I was following... He made a left at the Elsternwick hotel.
