  1. I think the RB will have a better power spread (fatter torque curve), firstly they are 6 cylinder engines which mean a cylinder will be fired every 60 degrees as opposed to 90 degrees on a 4 cylinder and capacity does come into play if you are referring to the RB25. Don't forget there are other factors too like VVT etc... Max power figures (regardless of the engine) are not the be all end all.
  2. You have a nice setup there. Personally I'd keep is as a daily/backup car - because its a shame to sell it off for a low price (from what I read you have put a lot into that car) - And have the GT-R for weekends or if you feel like going for a blast.... Unfortunately the market is littered with cheap cars of everymake and any condition (good and bad) - its all related to supply and demand and its a buyers market at the moment. I've also noticed the demand for grey imports "seem" to be getting lower from my own observation - possibly due to the poor exchange rate and people "growing out" of the "skyline phase" and moving to more family/practical cars - but as I say it's just my observation and cannot back it up with hard figures. I wouldn't convert it back to N/A as it will cost you money and time in the process. If your dead set on selling, best of luck with it all.
  3. Can this be mated to my stock auto trans, cause i'm thinking of getting a half cut once the ship has a crash - hahahaha
  4. Spotted a white R34 series II 4 door this morning along at 7.30am Station St Fairfield - drove next each other for most of Heidelberg road - city bound. This possibly could be the same one I spotted early this week.
  5. Saw a very clean white v35/v36 sedan in box hill - number plates "SMELL" - I loled
  6. The instruction manual says Dextron III. But I use Castrol Transmax Z - it's a quite pricey, but I instantly noticed smoother and more precise shifts.
  7. ^ I might buy some soon and store them. My car has now done 115,000km - I bought the car at 100,000km. I've changed trans fluid (Transmax Z) not too long ago *fingers crossed* this would delay them from failing soon.
  8. *cough* create backups

  17. Hey mate - check all your grounding - make sure they are clean and firmly in place, my mates 180sx had a similar issue (I know its a different car - but from memory the auto trans is from the same family) with the trans always going into limp mode intermittently. My mate brought his car to an auto electrician for another un-related issue and the auto elec found out one of the grounding wires was not connected/possibly came loose. Since then no trans issues with what so ever, best 5 minutes spent.... Also check for chaffed wires, which could cause shorting. Hope this helps.
  18. My r34 4door says 1100 hahaha :S
  19. From my experience - open the boot and remove the lining (secured via some plastic quarter turn screws) - you should then be able to remove the bulb from behind. I have an r34 4 door btw... not sure if it differs from a coupe....
  20. On a side note - I have this issue - but not too bad at this stage - can you point me in the right direction for a fix - prefer to do it myself.
