    Fcking Ants

I'm guessing the ants are there because there must be a dead spider or some other insect (or even a small dead bird - I had one stuck in my radiator after a long trip :S ). The ants are just having a feast. Find the dead insect (or animal) and the ants will go away.
  2. Saw a Red R33 coupe "GTSSKY" along Warrigul road on Thursday arvo - had SAU stickers.
  3. Sell both. Buy and R34 4 door n/a or turbo - keep it stock (if you can resist) - with a non metalic colour so it can be used as a daily. Good fuel economy. Boot is huge and rear seat space is pretty good. You get the best of both worlds - family car that still has potential if you wish.... They go for peanuts these days especially if you go the n/a route.....
  4. Pearl White ftw with tinted windows (look at the Mines R34 for inspiration)
  5. White R32 gts sedan on Warrigul road this arvo around 5pm - cute azn chick driving too
  6. i'm thinking of getting my R34 GTT wheels done - how long does it take? and ball park cost cause I got gutter rash on two wheels. Did you have to balance your wheels afterward?
  7. It was a great night over all. At some stages i was a little worried something might go wrong especially when people weredoing burnouts around corners.

  9. DBA Slotted R33 GTS-T - Front Rotors + pads Item: DBA 4000 slotted Front Rotors and Ferodo pads (will not separate) Location: Melbourne - Northern Suburbs Item Condition: Slightly used (1000km done on them) Reason for Selling: I bought the rotors (the pads were included) second hand with the intention to upgrade the rotors on my R34 - However the rotors are too big. (Incorrect advice from the DBA catalogue - N/A R34 rotors had the same part numbers as the R33 gtst.....) I was advised by the last owner that he only did 1000km on them and then decided to go for a big brake upgrade. I paid $300 for them. Price and Payment Conditions: $200.00 ono for the lot- Reasonable offers will be considered. Cash only. Extra Info: Pickup or arranged drop off only. Will not post.

  13. Cool - I've done that now . However I've noticed the page file is still in use... Very odd because I restart the laptop serveral times to ensure that the setting applied... Anyone have any suggestions/tips...
  14. Spotted white r33 gtst, goldish rims - Number plates SFA *** - Had SAU stickers. Victoria St Richmond - Tough looking car
  15. I have an old Pentium M 1.7Ghz laptop with 1Gb RAM, running XP PRO. The original HDD died, so I've now replaced it with a 64GB SSD drive (no moving parts). Reason being - more energy efficient, things load much faster, run cooler and are more rugged. However - I now face the dilemma of "wear" on the SSD - which I want to reduce. I only use the laptop for web surfing/MSN, movies/music, occasional CD burning and checking out my Skyline's health via the CONSULT port. I don't play games on it. I have 3 options that have come to mind to "reduce wear" on the SSD. - Leave it as is - it will not make much difference in the life of the SSD - it will wear out regardless.... - Turn off the page file - Would 1 GB RAM be enough? - Turn off the page file and buy and extra 1GB ram effectively making it 2GB RAM. I really don't want to spend too much extra money on this laptop as it is essentially just an Internet machine.
  16. I think most of them are actually GT or GTTs - Look at the general stance and the wheel arches and don't GTRs usually have a red rear fog light???? Even then - what a waste of R34s
  17. Just a tip. If you decide to get 8GB RAM you must use a 64 bit operating system. 4GB is the maximum a 32 bit operating system will support....
  18. I still have a 286 that still actually fully works - Intel 80286 CPU - 1MB ram - 1.44MB 3.5' FDD - 40MB HDD - 14' CRT - VGA Graphic card (don't know how many KBs in size - but can display 256 colours at 640x480 max) - MS-DOS 5.0 with dos shell - Panasonic Dot-matrix KX-P1180
  19. Case: Generic Midi Tower with Stock PSU Motherboard: GA-M61SME-S2 (all in 1) CPU & CPU Cooler: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ with stock cooler RAM: 4GB Hynix Monito: 19' LG Widescreen and TV Graphics Card: Leadtek 7600GS and on-board - Dual setup HDD(s): 2x 160GB Seagate Optical: 2x Sony DVD burners OS Used: XP Pro Peripherals: (eg) Keyboard: Microsft , Mouse: Microsft optical, Leadtek HD TV tuner, 500GB Maxtor external HDD, Cambridge Sound Works, Sound blaster live 5.1 using digital out (old sound card - but - onboard sound does not cut it), extra cooling fan at the front
  20. Just a suggestion - Best he get two 500GB drives or any other 2 HDD combination - Reason being - He can physically keep his data on another drive in the event the hard drive physically crashes (partitioning a 1TB drive will only ensure the safety of data if Windows decides to go belly up). Or if he decides to just have outright performance he can always have a RAID 0 configuration.
  21. Gun metal R34 4 door with S15 wheels corner Victoria and Punt roads yesterday arvo, azn chic driving.
  22. You should also be prepared with another 2k for basic maintenance items when you purchase the car - who knows how well the last owner took care of the car. As a start and peace of mind you will need: - Timing belt - Accessory belts - New fluids - oil (and filter) and coolant as a minimum, the other fluids such as trans and diff can be changed a little later or according to budget. - Top and bottom radiator hoses. - Depending on funds - replace other items such as spark plugs, brakes, shocks, tires depending on their condition
