When you see the girl of your dreams at every set of lights or is it just the skimpy clothing - hahahaha

If it has been working fine for such a long time, ensure all your grounding and terminals are tight and clean. Then check for belt slip. Then replace your alternator.

My R34 N/A is running water temps of 89C to 91C as always Engine is stock and I have no drivability issues. I just changed my coolant about 2 months ago.... Is this normal?
-
The white R34 may have been me - I was heading City bound via St Georges Rd around 8pm ish and home bound around 11pm ish.

Spotted grey r33 sedan when going home around 5.30ish last night, Albert St Preston - He gave me a beep. Spotted lots of Skylines out and about in the St Kilda and Elwood beach area last night.

I have the same thing happening in any auto car, it is normal for an auto, especially if the engine is cold due to the higher revs, once everything is warmed up it is felt much less. How bad is it? Is there a big delay when it happens? Do you notice any drivability problems, rough shifts or mis-shifts? Changing the trans fluid will not hurt. but personally I'd put it as a lower priority for now. Depending on how much you drive - the trans fluid should be good for another 1/2 year - but of course as with anything the sooner you change the better. Don't forget to use Castrol Transmax Z.

Try ccleaner first, then do a full antivirus/adware scan in safe mode. The do a defrag. If this fails do the things below. Depending on how much data you have you can burn it all to DVD or copy all your data to an external drive, then do a reformat and re-install Windows. This will save time and ensure you have a clean system to start with. Once you install all your drivers and updates do an image to DVD so in future it will be faster to setup. Another good optional tip is to upgrade your RAM, as Windows and security updates get installed they tend to "bog down" your system, if you are running XP I recommend around 1GB of RAM to be comfortably fast, for Vitsa 4GB is the go. I've run Vista on 2GB and it still seems slow.

I'll be there. I won it at one of the SAU club meetings.

Today saw a bayside blue r34 gtt coupe going down Victoria St. North Richmond. Very clean car - had SAU stickers and was for sale.

If your car is all stock - the nissan dealership can help (however I'm not sure if all of them do imports). I remember them quoting around $300 for the timing belt change alone. With all the stuff you want done your car will be in the shop for 2 days maybe even longer if the workshop is busy. (regardles of the place you send it). I personally find if you get the mechanic to do too much work they tend to cut corners. Here are my tips to. Timing Belt Kit * 1 x Genuine Nissan Oil Filter - Change * 1 x Genuine Nissan Timing Belt - Change * 1 x Genuine Nissan Water Pump - I'd hold this off * 1 x Genuine Nissan Thermostat - Change * 2 x Genuine Nissan Cam Seal - If its not leaking - hold off * 1 x Genuine Nissan Crank Seal - If its not leaking - hold off * 1 x Genuine Nissan Tensioner Bearing Spring - Change * 1 x NSK/NTN Timing Belt Idler Bearing - Change * 1 x NSK/NTN Timing Belt Tensioner Bearing - Change AUX Belts Kit * Water Pump/Alternator - Change * Power Steering - Change * Air-conditioning - Change Spark Plugs * 6x NGK Platinum, PFR6G - Change + change you coilpacks with splitfires as the stock coils tend to start giving issues after 100k OILS/FILTERS * Engine Oil - change - recommend Castrol GTX3 for 2 months to flush the engine then change over to a more premium oil of your choice. * Oil filter - change * Fuel filter - hold off * Gearbox oil - hold off - Castrol Transmax Z seems to be the choice for most people. * Diff Oil ( Not sure if needed! Don't know what it is) blush.gif - hold off * Transfer Case Oil ( Not sure if needed! Don't know what it is) blush.gif - Only if your car is an AWD you will need this changed * Radiator Flush - Highly recommended (recommend Castrol radicool) + change your hoses too.

Spotted a silver r33 coupe last night at docklands. Very clean car. Spotted silver r34 coupe just off Lygon with a fart cannon (it was an auto and n/a - nothing against it - just sounded really bad) - driver was trashing it and driving like a hoon. You are an idiot. Spotted a stock looking black r34 sedan just of Lygon taking it easy.

GT-X is equipment trim level - it has no bearing on things drivtrain wise such as HICAS, turbos, brakes etc.... Basically a GT-X is a speced up model of the basic GT such as Xenon lights (usually butchered during compliance), premium audio (please note this is jap spec), rear privacy class, heated mirrors... probably other small things here and there...... GT 2.0 GT 2.5 GT-X 2.5 GTT 2.5 (turbo) GTT-X 2.5 (turbo) Essentially a GT-V is the same spec level as a GTT-X 2.5 (turbo) - minus the turbo charged engine and guages. Hope this helps.

+1 Old kingdom has awesome duck - only problem is the restaurant is quite cramped.

All R34 GT4s do not have the tiptronic functionality. From memory the gearboxes are still physically the same (RWD and AWD), just no tiptronic for the GT4 and RB20DE NEO. Tiptronic is only for the RB25DE and RB25DET

Silhouette are the fastest IMO. Facilities are a little low rent, no fancy stuff like Ace Karts - But if you are just after quality go kart action - I highly recommend this place. Its in the northern subs. on the Hume Hwy - just past the Ford factory. http://www.silhouettekarts.com.au/
