  1. On a slightly different topic.. would any of these setups work for an r34 sedan (non-turbo).
  2. From a "logical perspective" I would imagine it should be the same between the sedan and coupe (both n/a), because it would be silly to manufacture 2 different types of rotors for essentially the same spec vehicle, also with the extra weight of the sedan it would not really make sense to give it smaller rotors... just my 2c
  3. Spotted a black r32 about to be towed on Shelley St, North Richmond near the new building - Seems to have broken down. Silver R34 GTT coupe parked along Elizabeth st, North Richmond near the PKBA building.
  4. Check your exhaust hangers and your universal joint - it could be worn out.
  5. Heaps of skylines last night on Lygon between 8PM and midnight. 2 cars stick to mind, red r34 GTT and a highly modified pink r33 with chromies.
  6. Damn street racers
  7. The lancers need the monster tacho in case their engines need to rev up to 12,000 rpm shift point, oh don't forget the 300km/h speedo they may need to reach that speed :laughing-smiley-014:
  8. Sounds like a vacum leak, fuel mixture or some sort of fuel starvation. Give these a try before looking into it deeper. - Change all filters. Oil, fuel, air. - Change oil - bad oil can foul spark plugs. - Clean the AFM - Check for cracked hoses, tighten intake clamps. - Check for loose electrical connections. Hope this helps.
  9. I saw that white r33 gtr too - cute azn chick was behind the wheel. I was in the white r34 door across the road. What car were you in?
  10. Hi guys, I hope this article helps. http://www.planetsoarer.com/resonator/resonator.html Cheers
  11. I've heard of it before in r33s, its probably quite rare. I also read somewhere the trans is physically longer too so you will need a shorter drive shaft. THe only trans i've found that "seems" to match this description is "RE5R01A or RE5R05A" - most likely the ones in the r33s - there is also a "Jatco JR507E transmission - but I think this is for later cars like the 350Z" Unfortunately all I can recommend is more googling in regards to your conversion - I have no more info
  12. I honestly can't remember - I saw heaps of skylines that night I've lost track.
  13. Was it a white r34 sedan? - that would have been me... but my car is not a GTT - just a GT

    Just Been Hit

That blows. I cannot stand dishonest people. Hope it gets fixed soon. I know the feeling, its happened to my Bluebird ages ago - swipped the wheel arch (end of the day is doesn't matter the car) - but the thought of someone coming smashing up your ride and not claiming responsibility just s*its me.

    Gtr Rental

Sweet. I will have to discuss this with my mate cause it works out to be just under $700.00AUD for 24hours - Very tempting.

    Gtr Rental

LOL - looks like I'm getting my hopes too high. Is there anywhere they hire out Skylines (v35/v36). I'd like do drive something with some space and performance? Any other cars you recommend going for?

    Gtr Rental

Hi guys, I'll be heading to Japan for about 2 weeks in late Feb/early March, just to tour around. I'm wondering if there are any places that hire out GTRs - I would prefer the R35 however I'm not really fussed if the older models are available. I'm pretty sure it will be pricey if they do hire them out. Does anyone have an approximate cost for hiring them? Cheers
  18. I see that car quite alot must be from the area...
  19. Goldish/silver Stagea - Filling up at Shell Reservoir. Saw Trel R33 in Bundoora - I was lost in suburbia after taking a few pics at Mt. Cooper.
  20. I'll keep a look out.
  21. R33 at Skyhigh Mt Dandenong last Saturday, had SAU stickers. About 5PM. White R34 coupe on Warrigul Rd last Saturday. About 6PM.
  22. Cool I'll PM you.

    Fuel Issues

Personally from my experience it depends on where the servo is located. I noticed the inner city suburbs tend to have better fuels. I have no hard evidence to prove it, but i do notice the car tends to run smoother and have a little bit more urge when I fill up at the inner city servos. :S
  24. Will it fit an n/a R34? I wouldn't mind taking off your hands, cause i think mine are leaky
