  1. Hi all, My mate's R1 was stolen last night from North Fitzroy.Link Reg: GE 524 I've posted this up in the wasteland for maximum coverage. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/me...ha-t241284.html Any info please call the cops and PM me, I'll pass the details to my mate ASAP. Cheers
  2. Coil packs could be on its way out change them to Splitfires. Its a common issue with R34s. In regards to engine error codes I recommend on of these: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ec...Di-t228314.html It will show you all the info you will ever need, I got one - money well spent IMO.
  3. Hehe - I do the exact same thing - but only from cold (if i know i haven't used the car for hours).
  4. Corner Station St and Darebin Rd - Fairfield - Black R34 coupe - personalised plates - SXY*** or ***SXY (can't remember) Seemed to have been parked there for a few hours - Drove past at 5.30PM and again t 7.15PM - car was still there. Yarra Boulevard 10.30PM - Silver R32 coupe - standard plates - TOY ***
  5. Sounds fun. I also got 2 mates that are 100% keen on going and another 2 that are 50/50. Do you have a venue and date short listed?
  6. Funny thing you mentioned "Skyline Road" because there is a road that connects to it called "Breakneck Road" :laughing-smiley-014:
  7. QUOTE(iseekool @ 13 Oct 2008, 01:11 AM) - Rye - drive down the road that follows the coastline (can't remember the name) - also go to Arthur's seat. Nepean Hwy. Not a good place for a modified car. Cops out in force and defecting regularly, particularly during the warmer months. Some of the roads out the back of Healesville (not through the Black Spur, through the other side of Healesville) are awesome but they’re likely to make you a bit carsick. No straights, all corners. Yep. Nepean Hwy, but when you get to Mornington (heading south) make a right turn at Beleura Hill Road, then make a left turn onto the Esplanade and follow it.
  8. Sounds interesting. I'd be up for it, depending on the date and weather. There should be a secondary meeting point (closer to the city for people not from the east side), but if there is no option for that I'll happily meet at Eastland.
  9. QUOTE(iseekool @ 12 Oct 2008, 09:04 AM) Saw a few on Great Ocean road - Gave them a friendly wave. 1 "blinged out" - silver R33 coupe just gave me the biggest greasy Last night coming home from Great Ocean Road - White R32 GTR - plates - XGTXRX Fairfield - Green R33 coupe - plates - QSA *** - Very Clean car mate If it was a white r34 4 door, it was me. My mate and his GF were in my car, my other 2 mates were in the blue Supra following me. Our reason for the trip was to give our cars run on the GOR and enjoy the sunshine. Once we got to Apollo bay we just kicked back on the beach. I had bugs all over my front end too, have to get around to cleaning it tomorrow, I've been a little too lazy to clean it off today hehehe.
  10. My recommendations: - Great Ocean Road up to Apollo bay - Black Spur then to lake mountain (any season is good) - Mt Danadenong - Yarra Boulevard - its a 50km/h place - The shortcut from Ringwood to Lilydale (I think its Jumping Creek Road from memory) - Rye - drive down the road that follows the coastline (can't remember the name) - also go to Arthur's seat. - Any of the ski resorts, Mt Buller, Mt Hotham etc. - any season -> If you want to head out of Victoria - I highly recommend Tasmania - They have some really good driving roads there.
  11. How many are you planning to round up for a game? I got a few mates who are really keen on on paintball, however we are usually not enough to make a team due to us all not being available at once...

In the northern suburbs ch3 has always something on but sometimes gets polluted by crap. Ch40 in my area is pretty quiet until you get near the ring road and hume highway. My uniden is a basic walki talkie - 0.7W - came in a pack of 2 with charger and hands free with voice activation, I think it was around $150.00. Mainly used for road trips when traveling in multiple cars, helps save on mobile phone bills and if there is no mobile phone signal - because i usually travel to the mountains for some twisty action.
  16. White R32 sedan pulled over by the cops near the Alphington entrance to Yarra Boulevard around 8.30pm
  17. Last night around 10.00pm - Preston - Silver r33 coupe corner Bell st and st Georges road, turning right from Bell st to St Georges. I know you saw me mate

I have a Uniden hand held (walki-talkie), always having it scanning through all channels, if i hear anything interesting I lock it on. However if i'm out and about with my mates who are in other cars i'm usually on channel 6. JamesK - in regards to the antenna - possibly try an internal antenna. Just as an idea... We SAU guys should elect a UHF channel, so we can have a shout out to other SAU people we see on the road... Any suggestions?
  19. +1 to this comment. I thought majority fogging was on the inside, however i was wrong most of the fogging is on the outside (however there is very minor fogging on the inside - not worth pulling the headlights apart IMO). Clean the headlights the best you can with normal car wash - make sure there is no grit left over. Get a clean soft cloth and use Meguiars PlastiX (non gel toothpaste also works a treat too ) and rub clean the headlights. Hope this helps.
  20. I've heard about this issue somewhere else. Check the variable intake manifold could be stuck or needs a clean... Hope this helps. Also check for vacuum leaks.
  21. No problems mate. Also check your hoses, hopefully your system will not look like mine http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...le-t237858.html
  22. Here's a pic for you.
  23. Yeh. You will usually see me around the northern subs, also the east side too. Most of the time I'm in Bluebird. Got some pretty good shots from last night too.
  24. Put on your SAU Vic lanyards.
  25. I wouldn't be surprised if they did get an R35 GTR, money has been already wasted on Hummers :S
