What about an r34 4door? Mine are starting to peel -
Slightly off topic - $130 per coil pack from a Nissan dealership that's not too shabby, my local Nissan dealership was asking me $196 each.... so I ended up getting a set of splitfires for $530 - to be honest I can't feel any difference (I have an r34 n/a btw) - splitfires are great value in comparison to the Nissan ones.

This might sound crazy... What brand/type of oil do you use? Sounds exactly like a problem on my dad's VS commodore. He had the problem when he was used Pennzoil semi synthetic, so far all other oils he has used do not seem to give a problem, might be worth a look.

Try a local tip/waste transfer station - Not sure if it is free or not..... or you can fool them into saying you have rubbish to dump, you then have drive up onto the scales, peer over into the office and you will see the weight of your car.

I f*cked up about 10 mins ago - I work in IT - I supervise new employees - I let a noob edit the registry on a terminal server to fix an issue (he claims he has an MCSE - heh BS) - 20mins later he says that all reg values are missing under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" - He deleted everything under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" - Now the client says nothing works.......... I'm awaiting the fallout

That's right - saw your car on Station st too on my way home it was parked near qube from memory... There is also this white R34 coupe with stock 16" wheels (I'm guessing a non-turbo as you need 17" rims to fit the bigger brakes) I see parked almost every afternoon at Station St about 200 meters north bound from the shopping strip.

The xenon headlights are optional - they are on the "X" models. In the R34 range there are 2 models for turbo and non turbo. non-turbo - GT and GT-X turbo - GT-T and GT-XT

Replace your thermostat with a new one, it could be stuffed. Check your coolant mixtures too. Do a high pressure flush of the cooling system. Hopefully this helps.

Hi all, I'm thinking of upgrading my stock head unit in my r34 to a Clarion DUZ386MP. Does anyone know if this will be an easy "plug and play" installation, or will i need adapters etc. I'm intending to keep the stock speakers for now and upgrade later on. Are you going to use genuine knock sensors? How much do they go for? I might consider changing mine as my car sometimes pings even though I use 98 RON. (stock RB25 NEO - Non-turbo) Cheers -

R34 GT (non-turbo) have the same rotors as the R33 gtst, but the pads and calipers are different.

Slightly off topic - They did make an rb20 neo for the R34 - But they will not import it into Australia becuase it does not meet the minimum power to weight ratio for it to be considered as a "performace car import"
