I already have... 750cc injectors full 3 inch exhaust (3.5ich from cat back) Apexi power fc Z32 AFM 3in K&N POD filter Heavy Dutch Xtreme Clutch Clutch, Exhaust and POD are already on the car. Tryin to put together how much the whole install would cost with what i already have if i bought this kit off ebay. Which i probably will.

The kit im looking at comes with a 4inch to 3inch silicone adaptor and 3inch intake pipe which i assume i could run my Z32 AFM off? This is what im looking at... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/R33-Skyline-T67-High-Mount-Turbo-Kit-Manifold-Wastegate-Kinugawa-rb25-Gts-t-/251202699172?_trksid=m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D4%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4425545948146766239&_qi=RTM839192

Just a quick question a little off topic... i have looked everywhere for answers but obviously in the wrong places... just wondering is it hard to run a T67 high mount setup and plumb back all piping witht the standard intake plenum? (on a R34 GTT with return flow FMIC) I assume a new J pipe and a bit of custom fab will achieve it ok?? Just wanted to make sure it is do-able as i may be heading in this path very soon and wanted to forsee any drama's before they happen. Any experiances or pics would be gre at.. cheers.

I would have to agree with nathanau about the whole skyline experiance... What he describes in his post is excaly how it is for me too. most ppl appreciate a nice skyline and driving one you appreciate how far ahead of their time they actually where. i love my 34 and after 5 years of owning it i still get out with a big smile on my face... to me thats priceless and you just dont get that with many cars in their price range. parts can be hard to get in qld though as i have bought a few around brissy myself. my best advice is dont rush into anything, take your time and find exacly what u want and have it inspected as others have already mentioned. good luck ! -

R34 would be a good choice as you have the option of a 4 door as well. at the end of the day the rb25 will have more torque but both rb and sr are great engines with good potential. i would also agree that the r34 is a very reliable car in both na and turbo form althouh r34 parts can be a pain to source at times. if possible i would highly recommend a turbo version of either car as you will head in that direction after a na anyway... you wont regret it if you do trust me good luck with your first buy!

Good to hear you sorted your boost problems mate. Keen to see your dyno results! What rpm are you hitting full boost by with the TD06SL2-20G?
-
wow, never seen one of these done.. Looks pretty tuff in black too, nice job. Hope the sale goes well, you can tell that you have dropped alot of coin into this car
-
Yep, i too thought this would have been the case... dammit

cheers for that GTScott

Does anyone recall how much simon's 6boost mani cost him?

A little bit off topic but... Does anyone know if plumbed back external gates are legal in qld? Im guessing they are to a degree until the transport department pull you over?

Kando Dynamics are willing to exchange kits for no extra charge, pretty happy with their service so far
-
Well i couldn't help myself after reviewing this thread again, so i sent kando dynamics a request to swap out my kit plus the differance between the kits and postage for an exchange on the T67-25G. Hopefully the exchange is accepted, as i havn't even recieved the original kit yet. 300+ kw with great reviews is just to hard to pass up i think... But thank you all for your feedback regarding the first kit.

Been reading this epic post for hours now and only got half way through it... But after all those hours of reading i noticed not one IW setup was documented, just the "dont go there" line was dropped a few times. Considering the price of these turbos, surely if your not chasing big power numbers wouldn't they be ok?? I only ask as i have already bought a TD06H601 before i found this thread and for the convenience of standard manifold placement and comp housing inlet size fits stock intake. I will be running this turbo with the following mods until i can afford a hi mount setup. Aim to run between 16 and 20 psi boost on RB25 Neo R34 GT-T. Hoping for around 250rwkw's, going to take it to Mercury Motorsport in Brisbane for final tune. - Bosch 550cc injectors - Walbro 255 fuel pump - Return type FMIC - Apexi PowerFC - 3.5 inch straight through exhaust - Z32 AFM Once i have it all installed and tuned i will post dyno sheet for anyone interested. (3-4 weeks away) Ebay link to turbo i bought - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/290660763799?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Another thing, if you smash up a 34 the parts are expensive and sometimes hard to get compared to 32's and 33's. I have been sent alot of 33 stuff when i specifically asked for 34 stuff, there is alot of differences between the 2. Other than that, I love my GT-T and it always turns heads. I've always been a fan of 2 door coupe's as its all about the power to weight -

R34 Gt-t Cv Shaft Questions?
swarzee replied to swarzee's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I found out that my problem stemmed from having a Z32 Hub withing the assembly as R34's and Z32's have the same assembly but different hub's. The skyline sline count was 28 and the Z32 spline count was 32 just as a reference. Credit to All Automotive Import Parts for helping me solve my problems. They are a top bunch and always seem to have what im looking for.
