  1. reading through this whole thing is rather depressing. im suprised anyone would tune an engine of unknown specs. GTRNUR is right. the only way forward from here is a total strip down and rebuild the correct way. just make sure its built and tuned by the same company so the limits of the engine are known while tuning. i feel sorry for u mate, ive been ripped off before to.

  5. hey all, ive got a complete R33 gtr twin turbo setup for sale. all you need to convert back to stock or go twins on an RB20 or 25 with some mods. turbos are in good condition. the X-force dump pipes are INCLUDED in the sale. pick up from brisbane or post at your expense. $600 cheers Ray
  6. helped fit a viva kit to an s13, it took 2 guys 2 weeks of cutting, shaping, sanding and glassing just to get it to fit on the car and ready for primer!!

  8. whatever u get, make sure u can turn off the passive arming. its bloody annoying having to unlock ur car cos u stepped out of it for a minute!!

  11. honestly mate, for all the stuff your looking at doing you'd be better off just converting it all back to stock. the factory airbox is not a restriction and it comes with its own CAI. plus it wont cost anything if u still have the bits. ive got no idea where the rumor that pods give u more power came from but it just isnt true. try them out back to back (stock VS pod) next time ur on the dyno.

  13. ive had this trouble with a highly recommended brisbane smash repairer. everyone said they were really good, but they were far from it. the panel work was very bleow average and the paint was even worse. stone chips just painted over, overspray on everything and worst of all the colour wasnt even close to matched. $2500 later when all these issues were raised i got the usual BS and no offer to rectify the problems. if i had the tools and knowledge i would have loved to have done it myself. so next time u need any work done, make sure u get everything in writing BEFORE they start and if its not up to par get the office of fair trading involved.
  14. i wouldnt go +6, u will almost certainly have clearance issues once lowered. anywhere between +10 and +15 would be the go. ive got 18x8.5+23 on mine and they could use a 5mm spacer, but im not gonna use 1 cos its illegal.

  16. +2 they are required to restore it to orginal condition. they cant just paint a wheel. it must be re-anodized or replaced with a new one. you dont have to settle for a sub standard job. if they are unwilling to correct the fault, get ur insurer involved.
  17. ive got a full set of stagea brakes. twin pot fronts single rear. with pads and rotors. u can have the hole lot for a 6pack of strongbows

  19. thats not entirely true. i have seen pics of japanese towbars on stageas (unsure if they were genuine), but they were rated very low (1000kg from memory).
  20. first thing i would suggest if ur chasing 5-600hp is sell ur stagea and buy a 260rs. it will save u a fortune in the long run. ive spent well over the price of a 260rs just in mods alone and mines not even running

  23. i would of been interested, if u hadnt cut off the rad support when u pulled the motor out.
  24. i smoothed the roof on my c34 no i gotta get it painted.
