  1. i might be keen on the six boost manifold if your willing to separate.
  2. did you search for this??? im sure its been covered alot. you might wanna start by swapping to a rwd sump. or even better sell your rwd and buy a proper skyline with AWD
  3. lol "high ground" i know the feeling. just a helpful hint for ur glove paint stripping issue. try and find yourself a pair of vinyl gloves that you use to do the dishes with. the stripper wont eat vinyl and those type of gloves are easy to put on and take off. also u can reuse the same pair over and over. great job with the car too. i havent seen this level of commitment from anyone outside the hotrod scene, bravo . also if ur chasing any stagea wiring stuff for your engine conversion let me know, cos im doing a 26/30 coversion and i'll have a MANUAL stagea rb25 engine, loom and ecu i wont need once its done (im bris too). i'll be watching this closely.
  4. is this any different to an r32 or r33 loom??? if so how?? need to know as im doing a 26/30 conversion
  5. hey jesse this has been covered alot of times. did you search for it??
  6. ok i finally got the camera to work. i also found a bunch of other stuff i dont need. 350z rear calipers $300 $50 $40 $25 $80 i found 2 rb30 single cam dizzys 1 with cap 1 without. $50 for the pair. rb30 single cam head VGC $30 rb30 intake with injectors, throttle (with TPS), and coil. $30 R33 auto trans cooler. could make a good powersteer cooler $10
  7. is there enough room to low mount the turbo??
  8. careful using willwoods, they dont have dust seals around the pistons. not a good idea on a road car.
  9. if u cant get 1 from the wreckers ive got 1. u can have it for $30+ postage from brisbane
  10. i remember about 14 or so yrs ago there was a vl commo that ran a red top rb20 head. apparently theres alot of wok to get them to fit, but as said above back in the day they were the only cost effective option. have a poke around on the commodore forums u may be able to dig up some info.
  11. Thanks for clearing that up guys! very helpful! i still have a few questions though. if the high oil pressure is required due to poor crank oiling, is it the same story for aftermarket cranks?? or have these issues been addressed?? is there a rough way to work out what grade of oil you should be using at a given pressure to ensure ur not making the foaming of the oil worse??
  12. sorry to bring up an old thread, but im trying to get my head around the whole oil pressure deal with rbs. i get that the aftermarket pumps may have better quality components, but as r33_racer states theres no need for extra pressure. so why is every1 so keen on really high oil pressure?? i understand for track cars u want all the pressure u can, but im talking street driven and occassional track work. my understanding of the topic is not great but ive ot this far. the rb twin cams have a big problem with oil return from the head so oil restrictors are used. but how do you know what the restrictor size should be with such various oil pressures?? my understanding is the components of the head require a certain amount of litres/min of oil to prevent wear. does anyone know how much this is?? cos this would be the key factor in working out what size restrictor to use. different pressures will give different amounts of oil through the same restrictors, so can somebody expalin how they came up with the restrictor sizes and at what oil pressure they were used?? so then we look at the requirements of the bottom end. the rb30 bottom end is propably the most used and abused 6cyl engine in this country. there are literally 100s of single cam 30s built over the last decade punching out 8s, 9s, 10s, 11s as well as ridiculus burnouts all running stock rb30 oil pumps. but you dont hear about many if any failures. so this being the case why such high oil pressure?? wouldnt all this extra pressure thats going to waste just wear out the pump faster???
  13. what ratio??
  14. hey mate business's have to register as a trader to sell on here. you should have read the forum rules
  15. typical. there doing that incase somebody wants to insure their car before it washes away.
  16. a bit of both. ive got a line on a cheap s1 nose cut. but i do like the look of the s1 front. besides i already have a ser2 so it will be nice to do something different
  17. i figure posting here is better than starting another front panel thread. im buying another s2 with front damage (as soon as the flood water pisses off!!), and im thinking of a ser1 front conversion. are the radiator support panels the same between a s1 and s2??? cos im thinking of just getting a nose cut and fixing it up.
  18. this stuff is still available. i also have a ser1 r33 drivers seat in good condition (a few little stains but will clean up nicely) $30 i also have a stagea ser2 dayz rear bar needs repainting $150ono if anyone wants anything posted organise ur own freight, im not gonna run all over town getting prices for couriers unless u give me a deposit! i'll get pics up if i can get the damn camera and pc to talk to each other
  19. paypal is a load of crap. the dont offer u any security at all. u can only get money back if its a business ur buying from and that paypals investigation finds in ur favour. i think all u guys whinging about being ripped off need to learn to deal with it. if ur dumb enough to hand over money to a complete stranger, dont moan about it when they walk off with it. there are plenty of secure postage methods and ways of doing business with interstate and overseas buyers and sellers. if ur to stupid to use them dont blame every1 else. in short, have any of u heard of COD?? use it!
  20. i could but it wont be cheap. whats the postcode??
  21. ive got to clean out some of the crap i dont need so this stuff has to go. a pair of 350z rear brembo calipers. they will fit any v35,m35 or 350z . $350 stock stagea c34 RS4s front calipers VGC (removed 4 brembos) comes with good pads $50 rb25 neo factory coilpacks. full set 1 dud coil $60 r33 ser1 front bumper reo $80 theres prob more but thats all i cant think of. i'll take some pics on the weekend. pick up from brisbane or post at ur cost.
