  1. wow i cant believe ive had these sitting around for a year. still got em and want them gone. $250
  2. location?? would u be willing to separate the rears??
  3. i dont know anything about the science of ceramic coating, just in my experience it doesnt keep heat in. ive also heard that stainless steel cracks when u heat wrap it. but the again ive seen stainless manifolds crack without it. ive got steampipe manifolds on the commo, it just seemed like a better choice. but i dont know anything about metalurgy.
  4. i guess that depends on the car and application. i have the same hi temp black coating on the manifolds of my turbo commodore and the difference in temp was minimal. the manifolds were still hot enough to scald from just a short drive. after a very hot summer day stuck in stop start traffic that resulted in a damaged wire, i wrapped the manifolds in exhaust heat wrap. now i can touch the manifolds for a good 20secs before it burns me and the under bonnet temps are much much lower. for the record the dump pipes were done in the silver coating and it didnt work either. so for me its heat wrap FTW.
  5. ive also seen the black evo and VZ ute on numerous occasions along the caboolture to burpengary stretch of the highway
  6. id still like to know whats the offset of the speedstar rims without the spacers?? and please post up a location!
  7. sumitomo make everything. put one of these on ur car, good traction and the power to crush those who disobey you.
  8. id like to present the award for BEST POST EVER to iamhe77 for his reference to Salma Hayek being hotter than carbon fibre. but seriously, carbon can look good. but be careful alot of that fake stuff doesnt stand up to heat (like a locked up car in the sun) and direct sunlight. then it bubbles up, fades or peels and looks crap. can i say crap on this forum??
  9. thanks i wasnt sure. id been told that by the dealer i bought the car from.
  10. whats the offset without the spacers?? location??? and pics if u got em
  11. dont you hate it when u balls up the title!!! could one of the mods please add the word "rims" to the title for me. also had a look at the rims today and 2 of the tyres are prob about 40-50% tread. so theres a bonus for the buyer.

  18. IMO battery powered electric cars are a waste of time as they are very restrictive in the milage you can cover. sure they say u can charge the battery in 45mins, but after playin around with electric RC cars for a couple of years i wouldnt believe that for a second. also mentioned was changing the batteries. how many thousands of batteries are recharging stations gonna need to keep in populated areas? they would need a 10 acre warehouse just to keep them all and try and keep constantly charging them. more so, how bad for the environment are the chemicals that make up batteries? i think that hydrogen cell electric cars are the way to go (like the honda they had on top gear). no batteries, no waiting to charge, just refill and ur off again. the best thing is its even better for the environment cos there is no harmful battery chemicals to dispose of. well thats my rant done
  19. thought id bring up an old topic. can someone suggest a engine builder/balancer that will do exactly what u ask. unlike the moron i used that did half the job his way and then refused to finish it (and charged double the verbal quote).
