hi everyone The time has come where the clutch in my ser2 RS4s is on its way out. so now i need to find a better one. im aware that the gearbox is the same as or similar to an r33 gtr, so im guessing i need to use a GTR clutch. but what would be the most suitable for a stagea?? searching for info on gtr clutches only finds clutches for serious HP applications, which seems overkill for a stagea that will never see more than say 200awkw max. so has anyone got a good suggestion?? has anyone out there done a clutch in thier stag?? where did u get it?? and before anyone says it, i have no interest in a rebuilt or modified standard clutch so dont bother suggesting that. im after brand new off the shelf stuff like exedy or OSG

thats odd the part number on mine is 32862-V5002 (1 number higher) next time just tell them its for a navara. the guy at my dealer said the part no. is the same

i'm go out on limb here here and guess he's after highway economy. not everyone is after crazy acceleration. i've had the same idea

its funny that everyone instantly thinks they look like a volvo. a couple of weeks ago i parked next to a mercedes wagon and i couldnt believe how similar it looked to my stag. everything about it was similar, the headlights looked very similar to my ser2 stag and so did the tail lights. even the roof racks! although the lines of the merc were much smoother and more rounded the similarities were obvious. where as the stag looks like the mercs evil twin, the volvo looks like their retarded cousin with the only similarities being the roof racks.

i know guards dont need brackets. the point i was making is the guards arent much good without the backets required to adapt the lights etc. unless u know how and have the means to manufacture them yourself.

anybody seen these guards on ebay?? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Bodykit-Nissan-Stag...1742.m153.l1262 not a bad buy @ $380. but they would be pretty useless as it makes no mention of any of the required brackets. might be handy if u have already done the swap and damage a guard.

i don't know about that. do u mean 10psi over the entire rev range or just above 4500rpm?? i tried the solenoid bypass on mine and it picked up a heap of power in the low to mid range, but nothing more above 4500rpm. i didnt leave it bypassed though, a couple of times it pinged its a$$ out at 3500rpms so i changed it back straight away. it could have just been bad fuel but i didnt wanna risk it. for the record all mine has is a cat back 3inch and splitfires. i got a pwr intercooler laying on the floor here im gonna put in her one day.

ive never had that either. i did drive around with a spanner lost in the engine bay of my commodore for about 2 months. i found it hiding under the battery. which was wierd cos when i lost it i didnt take the battery out!

congrats to the organisers!! my first skyline cruise and it was fantastic!! the route taken was excellent!! but may i suggest that next year, no matter where the cruise goes, u start a little closer to the outskirts of brisbane so we dont get broken up by all the taffic lights. the hypermarket is a great spot with lots of room, but the traffic lights made it difficult to get so many cars out. but all in all, Fantastic! A++!!
