i spoke to QLD transport about 26/30 engines in skylines about 6 months ago. to cut a very long story short, they said there is no emission testing facility anywhere in QLD and to have it done i'd have to go to NSW.

Something very wrong with the state of tune. I can rape the crap out of mine for a whole tank and still get 20L/100km. In fact in 150,000kms ive never gone over 20L/100kms. Usually average around 13L/100kms.

A quick dig around says QT1 is the code for the icelandic pearl. Where as QX1 is Glacier pearl. Maybe yours was a custom colour order?? Edit: ok is yours a 99 onwards?? They changed from glacier pearl to icelandic pearl in 99. To be clear they are both 2 layer colours.

give the "purchasing a stagea" thread a really good read mate. then make sure every car u look at is thoroughly checked over. and the best advice you will recieve about the stagea section is to use the search function ALOT all your questions will have been answered time and time again.

fairly obvious actually. the clock says 75,000 but it still has the japanese 100,000km service sticker on the airbox. obviously to stupid to peel it off. the paint forward of the front doors looks fresher than the rest and the rad is skewed on the mounts. which is a great indicator of a front hit.

well if thats what your looking for, thats what u'll get with a stagea. or even a 4 door skyline.

totally agree its definately had the front end resprayed and the clock is wound back. its over priced to hell for an auto.

If they r dull im guessing the plastic has come off. So just hit em with some polish mate. They come up a treat.

My roof racks stay black by keeping them in the corner of the garage.

If your in a pinch i have a spare exhaust thats turbo back 3in. Its pretty rough but works. Edit: i have a cargo blind too.

Well new panels are pretty much not possible. Which means 2nd hand panels and trying to find what u need, when u need it. Then u need to find a panel shop willing to fix it. From personal experience i can tell u 90% of them wont touch it. If u do find 1 that will, u better b prepared to dig deep.

Forget it mate. Stageas r expensive to run, repair, maintain, mod and most important insure. Go buy a cheap shitbox first. Rape it, crash it and learn to drive. Then buy a skyline to learn car control and get the turbo traffic light warrior out of your system. Then ur ready to buy a stagea.

Micah's right. doing it in fibreglass is a disaster. the ones on mine look fairly average and they've been redone a few times but never got any better. i got my other stag done in steel and it looks 1000 times better. once its painted it will look even better. find yourself a highly skilled metal worker and be prepared for a respray.

Get used to it mate. Women cant help themselves, they've just gotta touch things that dont concern them. But if u move anything of thiers they lose the plot. Give it a try. Move a picture or some junk they've cluttered your house with.
