thanks for the advice, still not working... when i leave the stock solenoid connected (pcm valve) the blitz unit starts making a clicking/crunching sound, doesnt sound healthy... despite all efforts still wont go over .7 bar, the orignal boost guage that measures in mmhg has been removed and the reading is coming off an aftermarket apexi guage. ive tried switching the hoses around, with and without stock solenoid connected... im starting to think the boost controller solenoid is fu*#ed, the guy with the s15 i was talking about before blocked a line going to his cooler piping or some shit, is there a need to do that on my car??

gday, not sure if this is the right area to post, but, just want to see if anyone knows whether the 'sard in-tank 280l/h' pump is a direct drop in/replacement for a 33gtr? or do i need a harness or need to make mods? im about to buy one just want to confirm, can anyone shed some light? thanks

sorry, whats not working is that it is always making stock boost .7bar, even when i have the stock solenoid disconected and the new one connected (even with settings up). im pretty sure have the wrong ones connected.

gday, bought a Blitz sbc-ID the other day and tried to install on my 33gtr, all electrics are fine but i think ive messed up the vacuum hose piping. my mate has done a couple of these before but on s15's, he said that you just put the hoses from the stock boost solenoid, onto the new solenoid and all should work well. but it didnt work, can anyone give me instructions of what to do in reards to the pipes from the standard boost controller (pcm valve), do i need to block some things off?.... the controller didnt come with a manual.. - ive searched high and low but nothing for a gtr boost controller install, burn me if i missed it. anything will be appreciated. thanks

lol my gtr does the same thing, it came with two blitz bovs venting like a fat kids lungs with a muffin on his plate. i get black smoke two, i find the bigger the kecktik dose, the more smoke. dw man, plumb it back and all should be good... been meaning to plumb mine back, but ahh, what do i plumb it back too?? i hope its not the intake because the bov's are on the drivers side of the car on the cold pipe from the cooler...

these responses have kicked me in the brain, REV210 love the curve on your graph and is exactly what im aiming for... i hope to upgrade to some hiflowed 33gtr turbos eventually, and still manage a good low range rpm. your right, the cams handed ass to the stockers... is this all dependant on the tune as the djr81's graph had much less down low? Tommo, looking forward to your post of results will be the 'be all and end all' of proof i guess. i think im going to need some tissues after reading these responses...

ive got a 33gtr, bp runs best and smoothest and actually gives me 40km extra from a tank, v power next in line... everything else runs shithouse in my car especially vortex even though its good fuel... hope this helps

thanks for the feedback, most of the advice seems to be contrary to one another. i dont think i will be upgrading the turbos to anything massive (i.e past 290 awkw) because a forged rebuild isnt really feasible in the near future because im still at uni (peasant wages). i was thinking maybe some steel wheel 34's or maybe n1's at most to save the life in the motor. cams was an idea i had so that i could get the same power with less boost, and seeing that i was doing pfc and cam gears thought i might as well chuck it in. its a tuff decision and in response to RPMGTR i dont think my car will ever see 400awkw lol... im more after the high 200's with great response and not so much boost, 1 bar absolute tops. all feedback appreciated guys, anymore personal experiences and findings would be great, ive got the cash just deciding. anyone recomend more tuners? anyone ROUGHLY estimate a price for the install of cams, or the other option n1's?

thanks.. yeah ive heard a couple of whispers about race pace as well but cant find them on the net :S, yeah still on stock turbos so ill tune it to 13psi. fuel pump is a good idea, totally forgot about it from what i know maxes out at about 240awkw?? anyone else recommend a tuner (experiences) or know where racepace is? or any advice im all up for it.

to all my fellow rb's, need some help... i recently had my 33gtr dynoed at protek in preston and made 185kw atw with all stock except exhaust and intake. sooo, i got a bit used to the power and spontaneously bought a PFC and cam gears, im also looking at some 260 9.15 poncams but not sure just yet. after lots of reading and searching on the forums i still cant find the exact answer im looking for... 1. what kw should i be able to milk to the wheels with the PFC and cam gears??? 2. what kw should i be able to milk to the wheels with the PFC and Cam gears and cams, and what will that cost me roughly if i do it properly (i.e valve springs etc)??? keep in mind the car is my daily driver so want to keep a safer tune... thanks will apreciate any feedback/adviceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee also, anyone recomend a good tuner in melbourne???

from what i know apexi discontinued the power fc for all the single turbo skylines, thats why they are so expensive on ebay (i.e: $1100 wtf). but yeh, i read a post a while back and apparently slidewize imports can get them at a decent price. good luck anyway
