hey guys... celsior is for sale again yo.. i sell it, then dont, then do, then dont... time for do again.. soooo... 1990 ufc11 celsior with 6 months rego pearl white over silver 200000kms... major service done, new waterpump, timing belt, etc.. no expense spared on oils and maintanance.. this car has no mechanical dramas with the engine or transmission. all completely stock (inc exhaust) limo tint... super dark... actually dark implies you can see through it... this is more like pure black. Wheels are Racing Hart Pro, not some cheap crappy +45 20"chromies.. these are proper baller size 19x9 and 19x10.5, both +26... you cannot get better fitment on a celsior... they fill the arches to within a poofteenth of their life but dont scrub, so much dish you can fit your iphone in there. tyres are stretched falken fk542, 235 fronts and 275 rears.. fronts are good, rears are getting low but still well legal and good even wear decent JVC and Alpine stereo, alpine subs and three amps in boot.. one sub has some damage to the cone but still pumps kenny rogers harder than yours. G4 coilovers... two are a bit noisy... heck.. they are noisy when brand new... they achieve the desired result though they are nearly maxed out at this height... just the comprimise we all must go through.. you want comfort, quietness and be able to take your grandma to the shops?? put the 15s back on and the factory airbags in.. the chocolate leather interior is in excellent condition... all electrics work and very comfortable and quiet. rear seat reclines and massages and stuff.. rear climate control etc.. all the trimmings youd expect from a yakuza boss car rock solid tow bar which apprantly is hard to find.. i have towed a loaded car trailer with the celsior and smooth as butter... didnt even realise i had a trailer on the back half the time.. 120km on the freeway no probs. overall this car is in good condition... when you consider that it is as old as a VN commodore, etc... it has a few slight dents and a small amount of paint is flaking on the rear bar, as does any car that is 21 years old and has done 200000kms. it also has the usual celsior faults.. like the drivers door handle is sticky and has to be pushed down after opening... never really been an issue to me... not exactly hard to open and pop it back down... not that id consider the effort involved in getting a new one, swapping the lock over.. getting it sprayed. and fitting it up.. also the temp and tacho gauge's have a mind of their own, instrument men can fix them.. but often send the ones that are working out of whack.. speed and fuel work fine and id like to keep them that way. aircon is as cold as antarctica... compressor is noisy though as is common on the toyota v8's... cant hear it inside the car but at $1000 for a new compressor.. i couldnt justify replacing it till it stops working $7000 neg. located at east maitland nsw, end of F3 freeway.. viewing available after 6pm weekdays or all weekends. TEXT me on 0431 646 160... i dont answer phone calls. i think the price is reasonable.. you get a hell of a lot of car for the money.. will not seperate the wheels!! unless you are taking the car and leaving the wheels then we can discuss options.. selling to buy a ute.. maybe interested in swaps of similar value. or cash my way.

hey guys, need a ute so the Celsior has to go. had it for about a year, always wanted one, dont want to sell it, but it doesnt get driven much and really need a ute for bikes etc. specs: 1990 UFC10 Toyota Celsior, rego till september. NOT lexus LS400, just rebadged as one by previous owner. 200000kms, 1UZfe 4L V8, completly stock except for g4 coilovers and super dark tinted windows, have r32 gtst wheels on it but comes with stock 15s. full leather interior, rear massage seats and recliners, full pimp spec.. its brown, but it grows on you.. feels very japanese mafia in there.. as opposed to grey leather. resprayed at some stage, white with blue pearl. has had major service done by me at my work.. new timing belt, waterpump, thermostat, all pulleys, drive belt, new distributor caps, leads, plugs, all filters and oils, temp switch. transmission has genuine toyota t4 oil, engine oil is Repsol Multivalvas. service every 5000kms new front brakes and caliper rebuild new front wheel bearings good stereo system... 2 subs in boot, neatly mounted for boot usabilty. Tow bar. has a couple of simple celsior faults.. like the temp gauge and tacho have a mind of their own, the drivers door handle sticks, and the front lhf shock is a bit noisy.. nothing major.. also has some paint missing from rear bumper, near number plate. great car to drive.. super smooth slushbox and super quiet cabin.. stock exhaust is eerily quiet, really would love to go nuts on it.. nice set of 19s and some decent VIP spec coilovers really all it needs.. i have no hassles getting parts from toyota can, they are on the toyota parts systems and can be looked up like any other car. i have towed a loaded car trailer with it and it flew.. kept forgetting i had a trailer on the back.. didnt even notice a lack in power or cruising. Located in East Maitland NSW, near newcastle.. end of F3 freeway. text me on 0431646160 or email [email protected] heres some pics: cheers Linton

No sorry, my crossmember went with the engine.. They are easy to come across though. Hey az... How's it goin. Would love to finish it, but theres a gtr in the pipeline and any money I spend on this I'd never get back as a complete car, better to sell it now.... Plus I'm really digging my celsior at the moment.. Don't really have anything that you would be interested in I don't think, keeping the brembos for the celsior, the other stuff is sr20 stuff that I've collected. Cheers Linton

NZM.031 posted a topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
hey guys, been a while, hope everyone is well. the 32 is for sale again, i know some of you were interested in it a year or so ago.. well its definatly for sale and its gotta go. heres the link http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/365186-r32-gtst-rolling-shell-complied-and-registerable/ cheers Linton -
hey all, selling my 32... situations change and need more garage space, i have made about 5 different to-do lists for the 32 and it gets carried away each time so i havent touched it for a year or more and i cant see me touching it for another year or so. soo... the shell is a full rolling shell. suit track car build or swap bits from your crashed one has like 120000kms, gunmetal grey, was registered 2 years ago, paint is in good cond, few scratches here and there but clean and straight has bilsteins all round, circlip height adjustment GTR rear alloy hubs so you can run GTR diff and driveshafts R33 gtst front lower control arms for more camber SR20 engine cross member for SR20 conversion P/Steering setup from S14 (rack/pump/resovior) engine bay and inner guards have been cleaned and painted grey the interior has been stripped of all sound deadening and painted grey the dash and centre console have been covered in suede carbon fibre center console panel for switches doors have been lightened and side impact bars removed like early 32 doors... dramatically lighter than before. strength was meant to be taken up by a full cage that i never got round to getting. comes with stock wheels and brakes but no front discs most interior bits are there.. some little bits arent. lots of parts have been cleaned and painted basically just needs a halfcut to get going again.. or an engine and gearbox and ecu. im keeping alot of the goodies i have acquired for this car to go on something else. car is located in East Maitland NSW 2323.. happy for inspections if you wish.. i know some people may want it but have no way of picking it up.. aka no tow car.. i can assist with delivery or possibly drop it to your house depending on where you live.. i will not travel more than 2 hours though and im not keen on driving through traffic with a car trailer. we will have to discuss options here. price is $2500 neg. contact me on 0431 646 160.. please sms first though. cheers Linton

hey guys, starting to clean up around work and clear out a few items that have been taking up space.. first up is an RB26 Head (no manifolds), genuine 60000kms, original head off Paul's GTR (see HPI 99), has been lightly cleaned up in the ports but is otherwise stock.. i dont think it has cams but we can dig some up if needed. $1200 second is a complete R32 GTR gearbox... again it was in Paul's GTR before he changed to the OS Giken gearset.. has been confirmed to have strengthened gears of standard ratios, from japan however origin is unknown. $1000 third up is a stock RB25 head.. no manifolds, unknown kms but is very clean inside. $500 may be more to come as we dig around and find more things, think there may be another 26 head laying about, aswell as gasket kits etc. items to be picked up from Newcastle.. no freight, stuff is too heavy. call me, 0431 646 160... or the workshop, Hunter Thomas Automotive, 4968 1362 and ask for me or paul. Cheers Linton

Nzm.031's R32 Gtst Ground Up Build.
NZM.031 replied to NZM.031's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
ahhhh well lots been happening but no updates yet... since superlap 2010 the car is taking a new direction.. no longer a neat clean, mild track car... it is now completly stripped back to a bare shell.. a very comprehensive cage to be welded in in the next few months and lots of hacking and cutting and shutting of things... aswell as much seam welding.. its been tooo cold in the garage of late so not much work going on. but thanks for your support -
no its all good fun... power doesnt matter... grip and cornering is the most important.. you have to remember its R compound tyres... and regardless of the rules of V8 supercars... those things are farking quick around the track.. and have oodles of money spent on development. they have to have downforce to keep the 285 slicks on the tarmac.. but put R compound semis on them and they fall into a heap. i look forward to seeing your car there next year.

Rules Changing For Registration Of Imports!?!
NZM.031 replied to DAN00H's topic in Australian Capital Territory
looks like its track cars FTW now boys. -
dude... it was done at superlap this year... the boat did not come close cyber evo 1.30 r34 gtr 1.34 v8 supercar 1.40 and it was done 20 years ago in group a racing... so it is you commodores that need to get your act together. and its not the skylines you have to compete with, as they are in a different category with the evo's and rex's, being RWD... you will have to compete with the panspeed RX7 and the like.. good luck.

Subframe Modifications For Your Track Car
NZM.031 replied to Simon-S14's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
the second ones are the slip on lock rings.. they are very easy to install.. and yes id recomend them.. they are fine on the street when the pay off is more control.. coilovers decrease comfort ten fold over what the rings do. the first pic are replacement alloy bushes... you'd need to remove the subframe, get the old bushes pressed out, and then put those ones in.. these ones are better because they allow the subframe to sit hard against the chassis. -
Subframe Modifications For Your Track Car
NZM.031 replied to Simon-S14's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
mounting the pinapples like that isnt going to give much of an increase in handling, they are just acting as a spacer for the nut.. the initial idea of the pinapples was to change the alignment of the cradle... nose down for less squat for drifting etc.. tail down for more squat for drags etc.. the handling increase comes from mounting them top and bottom and taking hardening up the crumbling cradle bushes.. but to get the best handling, you have to fully lock or eliminate those cradle bushes.. if you want a comfortable drive, leave them alone.. if you want to tighten up the cradle for better handling but less comfort.. get alloy lock rings.. it all comes down to what you want to achieve and what your prepared to do... some guys even take it further than Simon... -
Subframe Modifications For Your Track Car
NZM.031 replied to Simon-S14's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
i had alloy lock washers in mine and i hardly noticed any more NVH... not compared to adding super low and stiff coilovers, exhaust, low profile tyres and wide rims..
