  1. mate, the mrs says i cant get your car... but if your interested, or know of anyone interested, i have a 2003 KX250 thats got a few mods that im trying to sell. after $3800 or so for it. its in great condition, goes like a freak. ive only used it for trail riding, and ive ridden it 4 times since march. cheers Linton
  2. check for a crack or hole in your intercooler piping. i had the same problem in my 33 gtst and a friend had it in his 33 gtr, we both got coilpacks but nothing happened. then i found that the hot pipe from the turbo on mine had a huge cut in it where it goes through the body, my friends gtr though, his hot pipes to the i/c were all cracked and perished. hope this helps, cheers Linton

  4. now its really early in the morning, and ive had too much coffee... but i thought the bee r limiters cut ignition, not fuel.. hence the overfueling and causing the flames.. as a mechanic, i can say that an engine doing 9000rpm, then having its fuel cut is a recipe for detonation. the limiter is designed for launches.. so you can set it at your desired launch rpm, hold the throttle wide open and it will hold it at that rpm so all you have to do is hold it flat and dump the clutch. im pretty sure you can set it to a certain rpm to act as a rev limiter, aslong as its before the standard rev limit. just buy it, who cares, id pay $200 to pop a flame.. its heaps fun.. i could do it in my garage all night long! while your at it, get an ecu that can control anti lag and get that set up.. wake every bastard up at 2 in the morning in your street. just remember, if theres a reason, no matter how small it is, its worth it. cheers Linton
  5. very nice car mate, if i was after a white gtr id buy it in a flash. hunter thomas are one of the best workshops around, Paul knows his stuff about building bulletproof engines, especially RB26s, his own gtr is a testament of his work. whoever buys this is getting a very good deal. free bump cheers Linton

  7. hey all, quick update things are in process... i have got my abn number, waiting on my name to be registered then i can start trading. also have hookups with X-force exhausts, Exedy clutches, Ferodo pads, DBA rotors, getting other things hooked up aswell... will have website with prices up soon. cheers Linton

  13. hey all long time no chat!! as some of you may or may not know, i used to make aluminium airboxes, heres the original thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ic=75876&st=100 as some of you may or may not know, i stopped making them due to lack of energy involved.. i spent all my free time on them and being a mechanic at a busy dealership during the day, i just didnt have the energy to get them done... and then i moved house, now im set up in the new house and have changed from being a mechanic and am now in spare parts, which is cruisy and less stressful. ive been talking to some people and am going to get the boxes cut a sheet metal fabrication shop, that was the hardest part, cuttin them out neat.. with them pre cut, all i have to do is bend, put together, and polish and also mean i can do more boxes for more people and more cars. im trying to find out about anodizing, i was goin to do it myself but its a lot of work and need alot of room. so if i can find mob that do it, they boxes will be available in anodized colours, which will look sick. bare with me all, things are under way and will be better than before. thanks to all the people who have supported me and sorry to those who have sent pms which have takin me ages to reply to, i havent been on this site for a while, now i have the energy, im having a red hot go at making this work. cheers Linton

  19. i used to be keen on a stagea... until i had a liberty wagon, stereo's really cut down the luggage room and in plain sight of anyone to see, pain folding seats down to put my bike in, and a pain to get the bike up on the roof. hence my going for a lowlux, can just throw muddy stuff in the back and it can be hosed out.
  20. no swaps sorry. trying to get rid of cars.. not sure on power as there is no dyno close by, it has been properly road tuned by Hunter Thomas Automotive. it bags up second coming on boost, and sometimes third. it also gets to 200km/hr real quick, in 4th, still have 5th to go. cheers Linton

  23. shit yeh mate, there are heaps... this guys a major arsehole and contribution to the police christmas party fund.. he got transferred from dubbo coz everyone there wanted to kill him, got done for amphetamines, dealing and using, got suspended but is now back on force, now hes working in scone, where i am, after receiving death threats in singleton. go see singleton exhausts as he has huge pile of defects from this guy, he is building them up to try and get him off the force, ive been defected by this guy, a few mates have been defected... no matter what the defects for, he'll tick full inspection required. he does have a list, he gets enjoyment out of it... they have blitz's up here, they will sit in a sneaky as spot on the main roads where you cant see them to turn off, then defect everything on your car if its not standard, then he'll tell you he wants to get every single p plater or modded car in the area. cheers Linton
