  1. ok... after not being able to find a standard turbo, the hiflow turbo is getting reconditioned and put back on... ill get the turbo on and re-tune it. the front bar will also be fixed. as far as damage goes... the rest of the car is immaculate.. and the interior is also immaculate, except for some wear on the drivers seat...was there when i bought it and i was always planning to put some brides in it anyway, so never worried about it. cheers Linton.
  2. yeh he just got his licence.... there is a thread on here aswell about how if he didnt get his p's on his booked date he would have to sell his skyline. im selling my 33 to get a 31 coupe for drift and a suitable car that can tow it. i love my 33 though, and id keep it if i could afford to drift it. its fairly modded, few suspension bits and engine bits here and there... i find it much much better than my mates 180sx, it makes 244rwkw... unbelievably quick, however, on the same boost, 16psi, my 33 keeps up with it.. and dont have anywhere near as many engine mods as him.. also, my 33 handles much better, feels much better, brakes better, sounds better, and has a much nicer interior. sure, its more expensive to fix.... but the need to upgrade is not as much as with an s13... if a part on the s13 breaks... you are going to replace it with pathetic standard shit...single piston brakes...weak as gbox...simple suspension... yeh right... your going to have to spend money on those parts to get them up to the same level as the 33 components....and then more to make them better than the 33 components... if you like it, just keep driving it....youve only had it for a month. if you dont, good luck in selling it...there are heaps of 33s out there for sale... i know a guy whos had a 33 for over 6 years.... its stock as a rock, not a thing done to it, and he's never had a problem with it. drive it like a dickhead, and it will break soon enough, just like an s13 or any other car. and the 33 should have plenty of power for you... if it doesnt... then buy a corolla as a daily driver.... thats what i do, and everytime i bring it out of the shed... it feels unreal, and super quick....and makes me happy, and thats all that matters, its never been on a dyno, ive never taken it to the strip, it makes me happy when im driving it, and thats all that matters... but it is for sale.... just because i have other highways to travel and the 33 is too damn nicer car to strip the interior and stiffen everything up for drift... so if anyone is interested... pm me! cheers Linton
  3. spend the money and replace everything that goes between the motor and the gearbox... saves pulling it down later for a $10 part. i got my clutch about a month ago... upgraded gtr pressure plate, 3500tonne clamping pressure... carbodix ceremic button plate, and used the standard flywheel, but got it lightened and machined...heaps cheaper than buying an off the shelf unit, and dropped it to 16 pounds instead of 20 pounds.. the guy who made the clutch (im not sure who it was, but ill find out) said he prefered to use the standard flywheel anyway, as it has better friction properties than a billet one. all up cost me about $1500 w/o installation as i helped out and did most of the work. throwout bearing, spigot bearing, rear main and gbox input seal were all replaced. clutch is awesome, very grabby, takes a bit of getting used to, but its not to heavy. cheers Linton
  4. for about $250 - $300 you could get a bosch 040 which will flow about 235L per hour. for a little bit more you could get a bosch 044 which will flow 330L per hour. i have an 040 pump and was told it was nearly the same as an r33 gtr pump. im using the standard pump to supply the surge tank, and the 040 is mounted in the boot and pumps fuel from the surge tank to the engine. cheers Linton
  5. your looking at buying an N1 fuel pump... but you dont know if one exists?? why are you on such a mission to buy a gtr n1 fuel pump... why not a big bosch pump, or twin big bosch pumps?? i cant imagine the n1 pump being bigger than the original gtr pump, its already pretty big. plus the n1s didnt have a great deal more power than the gtr, not enough to require a lot more fuel anyway. cheers Linton
  6. ill be making them for a 32 as soon as i can... just hold up a bit. cheers Linton
  7. 33 moate st, Georgetown. next to henny penny, if you didnt want his exact location... then he is newcastle. he does a very good road tune, using proper test equipment... or if its full on dyno tune, he takes the cars down to a place in sydney as they have the best dyno setup... better than all the ones he has used in newcastle... and the way he tunes the cars is far better than other people do, he is very gentle, while still gettin the most power he can, while still keeping a safe tune. the downside is that this is for power fc's only.. as this is what he deals with. cheers Linton
  8. i should also mention that the turbo is currently off it, im replacing my hiflow with a reconditioned standard unit... while its been sitting there ive done a compression and leak down test... all good, around 150psi in all cylinders... dry. cheers Linton
  9. i live in muswellbrook, bout half an hour north of singo... thats bayswater power station in the background... the 31 will be a drift pig, nothing more, nothing less... just a thrasher that is barely able to be driven on the street, let alone legal... yes the front bar has copped some slight damage... as they all do... can have it repaired if you want. thing like that never really worried me... i have replaced the tape with stitches though the rest of the body is straight and clean... sorry, but im not interested in a 32... however d-d might be interested in it.. thanks dave, much appreciated cheers Linton

  18. wazr32gtst....they are handing their car over to you.... to someone they dont even know, or ever seen drive... you want real world?? what if you let someone drive, and they kidnapped you or something, they just kept driving, took you round to their mates place or something... just coz your in the passenger seat, theres not alot you can do. its for serious buyers only, if your not serious, your not gonna hand over the money and you dont want the car. ill let people test drive mine... its not that quick... a 300rwkw example though... that breaks traction real easy and slams you back in the seat... i would not let people drive. cheers Linton

  23. i used normal spray paint... worked a treat, doesnt come out real thick anyways... somebody painted my cooler black, then someone else painted it silver over the black, but they used wheel paint, and its really thick... a few hours in the acid bath at tafe and she was all back to alloy.. looked real neat. cheers Linton

  25. dont know how many kw...never wanted to know. it goes well enough to keep me happy and enjoy driving it...thats all i worried about...too many people go by dyno figures... they mean nothing anyway. on 16psi it keeps up with a mates 220rwkw 180sx.... until he puts his on hi boost and makes 244rwkw... cheers Linton
