they are great i especially agree with the white van ones and the truck ones i hate it when they pull ou to overtake someone especially up a hill . on another note what are you doing listening to 3AW must be a station you begin to listen to when you get older i wonder what the age limit is when you decide to turn that dial in the opposite direction. lol just messing with ya .i dont even have the radio in my car.

ive only ever seen the rs model of the new subaru. i like the look of the rally version though but i love the old look you knew it was a wrx with the big rear wing and the large hood scoop they were great. the bug eyed model isnt the worst model anymore either. do you think they will quickly change the shape again like they did with the bug eyed version or is this what they will look like from now on and never have that boy racer look ever again.

you just need to find a bit of an empty road like a new estate or something, thats where i used to practice to drive manual because it was empty and i didnt want to stall it all the time or stuff up with other cars all around me. edit: depends what your practising i used quiet roads for learning to drive manual but if you want to practise other things than maybe a drag strip or circuit would be a good idea or a skidpan.

ok this topic has gone way off. for starters we shouldnt even be comparing nissan with holden they aren't direct competitors. one is a GTR thats now aimed at supercars. while the holden is aimed at mainly family cars. i think you should compare it to ford as they are there main competitors. look at the limited edition cobra gt they brought out not long ago it had the cobra badges and and just the paint job and they were charging a fair bit more just because of what it was called and they were snapped up in no time.your paying more because its a limited edition there are alot of hsv fans out there plus people who just love chev and since you cant get them hear you go holden. so stop comparing them with other cars from other countries. this hsv is aimed at australia and australia only and i dont think this car is really aiming at any other type of car its just a limited edition for collectors and fans. plus in a few years time this engine will probably come in the SS's. and yes i have changed my tune from the other day because ive thought about it for a bit longer and im not just one sided, i love all cars. but this is what i think anyway. also id like to add id like to put this engine in a lighter car and see how it goes.

well its going to be a pain in the ass i had to change mine on my r34. now if it was turbo than you just have to remove the intake pipe but with the N/A r34 you will have to remove that whole manifold that covers the top cover. make sure you dont wreck the gasket inside or might might have to get a new one also make sure you have sealant to seal it up again.there was a few more things that need to be moved to get to it also. all up its the biggest pain in the arse eva.

i totally agree with 'm3gtr' for that price what special gadgets do you get in it other than your radio air con and a cd player. it must come with a concrete block in the boot as well to weigh that much.dont get me wrong its a great engine but it should come with something else for that price range there is nothing special about the rest of the body work or electronics at all.also brining it out at a bad time with the whole fuel thing. makes them look like that they dont care and arent looking for a solution at all.

what i meant was that that is slow its not impressive at all i was expecting something faster than that considering the size of the engine. with all the technology around now, just look at the german v8's they are smaller but still make more power than this.i think that holden keep thinking that the only way to get more power is to just go bigger.

its an impressive engine the american know how to build v8's. but i think its a bit rich but in the future this car is more like an investment im pretty sure in 30 to 40 years time these will be worth a bit if they are still around.when it was released at the motor show they said it does 0-100km/h in mid 5 seconds which shows it must weigh a fair bit. just a quick question with all the newer SS's and people badging them with chev badges is the entire engine made by chev or is it just the engine block. its just ive herd somewhere that all the other components like the rods and pistons and all that stuff are holden while just the engine block is made by chev. just wondering if its true or not.

yep i agree it happened to me. your engine light comes on for no reason and it can run rough or other times the light is just on and still idles smoothly. i bought splitfires and put them in and everything is ace. . except for a truck cracking my windscreen and a car reversing into me in the parking lot when i wasnt there resulting in me having to pay for it all. . but i still love my car and yours looks great congrats. ps. keep the bonnet its awsome.

at least you attract something. i get nothing, to immature they say. only people i get are scary people on public transport so i dont take it any more. i had a guy that kept saying he really loved my hat, absolute freak it wasnt even a special hat or anything! brilliant idea and i think it should be at a track so you can have show and shines and stands and cruise along the track and stuff like that. we should have it as a fundraiser so SAUVIC can buy a r35gtr and every memeber gets to have it for a day .

get a r34 4 door. sorry to hear man. driving in the rain can be scary.the thing i always do is if the road has a overtaking lane go into that because the water runs off them so the right lane will be better with no puddles and a safer drive. thank god i have good tyres i have pirellis (i think thats how you spell it). at least your fine thats the main thing cause cars can be replaced and people cant.

my experience with them was great. i bought a second hand r34 bonnet off them, i payed the money up front which cost me just over 300 bucks including postage and i got it in about a week in perfect condition. I was very happy. sorry to hear about your problems.

that pic was taken from power road car sales it says its a 2000 or 2001 series 2 and there in melbourne his cars come straight from japan. i dont like that front of them anyway. i agree also, the pedals do look awsome. forgot to mention i also remember reading that somewhere to about the new zealand thing, but im not sure if its true or not cause it doesnt make much sence.

i like the series 2 especially the dash the white looks really good plus the steering wheel is awsome too. it looks more refined and not too cheap. i want my interior to look like that or just to have the dash would be great.

i hate hearing about stuff like this i know what its like to be in a bad car accident when a cement truck ran a stop sign and we hit him at about 100km/h i was with my family but luckily we all survived. and being in one changes alot of things because you know exactly how easy they happen and how bad it is to actually be in one. the sad thing is this isnt the last time we will hear about something like this. R.I.P
