when i used to start up mine the check engine light would come on and my car would shake badly and other times it would be fine then after a little bit the light would come back on but still seem ok. it ended up being the coilpacks i bought some splitfire ones and its all good now.

i dont know if this company is good but go to carmate.com they have a list of fronts and side skirts and stuff like that and there is some good ones at good prices too.

i'm interested my bonnet has a big dent and is lifted up on one side and dosn't look very fixable and if it is it will probably cost as much as a new bonnet anyway the only thing is mine is silver.

has anyone got a bonnet for sale?

this is going to be an awsome day im really looking forward to this. i might clean up my car so it looks real nice but that wont fix the big dent i have on the left hand side of the bonnet. anyway it still runs. im definately bringing my camera to take photos and vids of the day also.

i think i might chuck my car on the dyno i wouldnt mind knowing what it makes. i should be easy to spot just look for someone that looks too young to be driving and that will be me lol. seriously some people think im still a teenager but im turning 21 in may. ill see ya all there.

ill be there id like to meet all you guys, i dont think ill have a dyno run though my car is N/A so the result wont be very impressive. hopefully ill have that big dent on my bonnet fixed by then as well.

i forgot to mention it doesn't have to be a genuine r34 bonnet it can be aftermarket or whateva, as long as it fits a r34 gtt. thanks.

hi im looking for a r34 gtt bonnet because mine is too damaged and will probably be cheaper to buy a new one then the price of getting this one repaired.

i have something to whinge about i came out of work to see one side of my bonnet hit up a bit i quickly ran over to find a big dent on the front of the bonnet and scratch marks on the bumper. i think it must of been a stupid 4wd and of course they didnt own up to it. now i have to try and get it fixed or even try and get a whole new bonnet. also it cracked the front bumper a bit and pushed the headlight in a bit but they still work which is a relief.

if king springs aren't that good then what if you fitted the tein s-tech springs instead. are they better when left with stock shockers? im still looking for some upgraded shockers as well which im sure will make them even better. i only ask because i can get some for free.

i might head down then and see what its like. do you know what cars would be there?

did i read something wrong or just imagine it, because i thought something was happening at calder park in feb. or am i going crazy?

im in the same boat as you, mine wont be used on the track or pushed to hard plus ill only have it for a year or 2 cause ill be upgrading to turbo. thanks for keeping me posted cant wait to see how it goes when you get it done.

i thought id add something to this topic now. when i was younger i loved v8's and actually liked holdens and fords. i still love v8's because you have to admit they sound great but i have been turned off holdens for a few years now and mainly because of the drivers around my area with the way they drive them thinking they are the best car ever. plus a couple of my mates own them and i love to argue with them about it lol. but im not saying they are crap cars or anything i think its mainly the people who drive them turned me off. but you could say the same with alot of cars as well, especially skylines, im sure there are some people out there that act the same as the holden guys as well. anyway i dont mind the look of some of there cars i do like the hsv gts coupe that had the 300kw engine that was nice but im not a fan of the new holden though. So lets see what the new ford will look like. ps. GO JAP CARS.

hey r34 owners just a quick question what do most of you use to lower your r34's because i want mine a bit lower it is way to high.

thanks eug. i hope i might get some answeres now because i have some more info like i know mine has turbo brakes. so would that change the suspension to fork? also what other differences would mine have if it was a gt-v is there other little things i could look at. as everything looks normal the only difference is my neo engine cover isnt in red its not coloured at all.

ok i have a r34 25gt and i went to get some suspension and found out that mine has the fork design on the rear. while every one elses non turbo r34 one has the same setup as the r33 with all 4 being the circle design. so why is mine the same as the tubo models for? also mine is a 4 door.

hey spunky munky tell us how it goes because im thinking of doing the same thing with mine because my car came with brand new r34 shockers so they should be alright.

ok i understand it now. Sorry 'spunky munky' for taking over your thread, but i was after the same answer as you because im sick of my car looking so high off the ground. It looks wrong and i only wanted it lowered a little bit to make it look nicer and not like a 4wd.

if my car already has coilovers cant i just lower it the way it is then and keep the stock springs and shockers? sorry if its a stupid question but i dont know a great deal about suspension im just trying to learn.

im not over jap cars i have been driving them for a couple years now i started in a subaru rx and now my r34 and i just love it. never driven a turbo yet so i dont know what it feels like but i cant wait. check out the toyota soarer's they are pretty luxurious for there age and they are jap cars. also if i went european it wouldn't be a base model it would have to be the top of the range like m series and Amg etc.

sorry eug i forgot to answer your question. and its yes he removed the whole lot, but he had to remove alot of pipes and stuff that was in the way. the gasket was fine he just sealed it up and put it back on.

its all fixed now i got someone to come and do it for me. i didnt want to stuff around with something im not 100% sure with. but its all fixed and running great.and it took him a couple hours to do.

ok this is why mine seems hard it looks nothing like the turbo ones, it looks like you have to remove the whole manifold.
