I dont want to buy a sub and take up all my boot space. Anyway I installed 6 X 9 speakers in the rear parcel quite easily and the parcel shelf still looks original. I just changed the carpet on the shelf. To put 6X9's in you must get some 19mm mdf or chip board. Then you have to cut out a square a little bit bigger than the 6 X9 template. Then you put the wood on the shelf and see where else you have to cut the wooden spacer and screw it in. Once co,mpleted the original shelf must be carpeted because the 6X9 speakers sit on an angle. I think this was a good alternative if you dont want a sub and the shelf still looks original with vents.

My sister got my car tinted as a present and it turned out like shit. That was from a Premier store. There was a bubble in my back window, not cut around the window properly. Shit job. I know a person who does it for me and friends for about 170 dollars. He just done my line and it looks good, except it got scratch in it from the window going up and down, so I will be takin it back to him to fix b/c some shit would hae done that. Not sure about what type of tint.

Hey all, I have a 95 Skyline 2Dr. I am looking to install an amp, splits and 6 x 9 speakers for the rear. I have this stuff already b/c I took it out of my old car(written off). Anyway I want to put 6 x 9 in the rear, I have had look at the rear parcel shelf and there is not much room to play with. If I put spacers in, the speakers come close to the rear window? What thickness should I have for the spacer? Also for Splits at the front where did you install the tweeter? Anything I should know(tricks or problems)? I am going to install the amp next to the battery. This will be a tight fit. How have you all installed the amp and where? Any pics would be great of splits, amp and 6x9. Hints would be great as well. If i cant get the 6x9 in, I will put splits in. Please help guys.

Thanks, But I found the problem is that when they removed the original seat belts, the wires were connected to where the belt connects. This would send a signal to the dash saying your seat belt is on or off. Just a safety feature. So the new povo belts they put in would not have this feature and so the wires cannot be connected.

Hi all, I need some questions answered. My R33 series 1 has a wire come from the flooring and plugs into the bottom of my drivers and passenger side seats. Then another wire comes from there and hangs loosely with nothing connected. What is this for? Airbag? Should the wire just being sitting there loosely? Thanks

Hi, I have a r33 gts t. I am looking to boost it to around 11 pound with a high / low switch. Do I need a larger intercooler? Will the turbo be ok? I am also looking install a 3" dump pipe as well. Any suggestions would be great. What other performance mods can i do improve performance cheaply apart from cold air intake. Thanks

I have a GTS t r33 and have accidently adjusted the screw on the back of the inlet manifold for air flow. I think I have got it close to before but I am not sure. Would it do any damge if it was out? How do you know if it is set right? the car is idling about 800 rpm. Thanks for your help

Hi all, Please help. I have just cleaned my throttle body and reset my and accidently took off the TPS(Throttle position sensor). I am having trouble with the idle of it. Originally it was revving at 1200 cold and 700 rpm warm and now it sits at about 1800 cold and 1000 warm. This is revving this high after putting the TPS back close to it's origianl spot. So I have tried to adjust it but it is not getting any better. Please help. Maybe idle needs adjustment. Is the idle adjuster on the back of the inlet manifold? the screw? The tps was about 7/10 to 8/10 clockwise. To get revving really low I have to put it fully clockwise but this cannot be right. Thank you for your help

Today I serviced my car(r33 skyline gtst manual) and cleaned the throttle body. I also took off the black thing connected to it, thinking it was a sensor. Unfortunately it wasnt. I also disconnected the battery and preessed the break a few time to reset the ecu. I am not sure if it resetted how wouldI know? ASince taking off the black thing Is it for idle or is it for air/ fuel mixture? Anyway my car use to idle at around 700 and now it's 800. How do I get it back to 700rpm. Is it the black idle thing or ecu reset? I tried adjust the idle with the black thing. but it was no good. Please help.

I am getting an alarm installed with twin immobiliser for my r33 skyline. The installer seems to think he cannont install the alarm/immobiliser with the turbo timer. Has anyone done this themselves? or know how to do it? Please advise me on this so i might be able to advise them. He said it had to do with the alarm and australian standards. thanks

Hi, I have finally bought a 1995 Nissan Skyline gts t. Anyway can someone help me out regarding the headlights? When I put the low beams on the parkers and outer light go on and when I put the high beams on the innner lights go on only and nothing else. The low beaams seem quite bright and the high beams are not to bright i think unless the low beams are pointing to high. Can someone please tell me how the lights should work please. Ahould both lights go on when high beams are on. Which lights are the low beams? I use to have a commodore vr and when you put high beams on all the light would be on. Thanks

Hi all, I am about to buy a 1995 Nissan Skyline gtst. But i have found that the timing belt is noisy while being cold. The noise is coming from the top end and a mechanic said it was the belt so i hope he is right. But anyway after it is warm the car is fine. Has anyone else has this problem? So I am thinking of replacing the belt, so has anyone attempted this? If so was the belt easy to get hold of? where? Is it an ez job or a little harder, is there anything special i should know. My bro in law is a mechanic but never worked on a skyline. Help would be great thanks. Johnathon

Hi all, I am looking at buying a 1995 Nissan Skyine gtst and at the moment the exhaust on it has two 2 inch(about) pipes from the cat to the rear into a twin pipe muffler. Do you recommend I keep this one or put on a 3 inch pipe on with a big muffler and 5 inch tip i think. He has offerd me either one with the car. I have never seen a twin from the cat on the skylines.
