  1. Looking for a pump for an external set up for a 32 gtr pm or ring Michael on 0404 073 346 I'm in Adelaide Cheers
  2. It has 6 wheel electric brakes, so if you turn em on I suppose it would do skids, Bro Thanks for lookin
  3. Tri axle race trailer with annexe, used for five meetings last year. Paid $24,000.00 excellent condition, must sell Call or PM Michael 0404 073 346
  4. Problem solved. I rang Ross balancer and they told me this is one of the first balancer they did for a 26 and I will have to contersink the back plate and use countersunk screws. Ross was very helpful and apologetic and offered a great deal on there current motorsport balancer as a change over. Thanks
  5. I've got both shims in place. It would fit if it didn't have the set screws in the back of the balancer, I assume they are to hold it together so therefore required. The part no. is for a r32 gtr. (That's what I got, with a 33 crank, I don't think the snout of the crank is any different just the oil pump drive) me no understand! Thanks
  6. I have just tried to fit a ross harmonic balancer part #306202 to my rb26 and the bolts in the back of the balancer hit the oil pump shroud. Any Ideas?
  7. I'm rebuilding the engine so I am doing on an engine stand. Still a pain in the arse. The dumps are definately different the longer one goes to the back, I am talking about the manifolds that bolt to the head. I think these dumps are duds anyone got any HKS's in Adelaide?
  8. Have you checked the wastegates to see if there seated? If there not it won't make boost. Un plug the hose to the actuator and pump in compressed air (set your compressor to 20psi) and give em blow.
  9. G'Day, I've spent all day bolting up turbos and dumps on my engine and when I went to bolt the inlet to the rear turbo it fouled on the front dump. The dumps are Chinese so before I abuse the dump supplier I was wondering if the manifolds are different, they look the same. any feed back would be good Thanks
  10. G'Day, I am rebuilding my RB26 and I got the machine shop to drill and tap the manifold so I could put the nipple in for the MAP sensors. I haven't got the computer (therefore instructions) but it make sense to do it how while everything is apart. Anyway they put the holes in 3 and 4 just behind the throttle bodies, all good until I put the linkages back on and it hit the nipple to cylinder No.3. I have plugged the hole but I will not be able to tap another hole in No.3. Does it matter if the nipple in No.2? I can't imagine it would make any difference but before I drill the hole I thought I would ask.
  11. G'Day I'm after a set of geniune Nissan N1 Rings (The top ring is 1.2mm thick against standard 1.8mm) Nissan quoted $260.00 but a two week wait Ring 0404 073 346 Thanks, I'm in Adelaide
  12. The reason I ask, A guy I know put a 25 neo turbo on a FJ and he had problems with oil smoke from the exhaust, apparently to much oil flow/pressure for the turbo. He was told to restrict it and it fixed the problem. "A common problem with this upgrade" I was wondering if I would face the same problem? However, I would of thought if it was a problem there would be a few complaints about it, as it is a fairly common upgrade. Thoughts?
  13. Lets not all laugh too soon Think about it External oil pump + small pistons + short stroke + good flowing soild head = 12000rpm Hang on baby
  14. I was wondering if anyone had bothered bolting a 26 head on a 20 bottom for the ultimate rev machine, and would probably work well with the restrictors required for improved production. (Not sure about valves hitting the block) Just a thought.
  15. G'Day I've bought some R34 GTR Turbos, I've heard about the place that they have ball bearings against plain bearing in the 32's. Do you need to restrict the oil flow to the turbos? Thanks
  16. G'Day, Background I'm building up a budget gtr track car (if such a thing exists), I took it out once and did number 6 big end bearing. I am now rebuliding it and have done all the standard fixes oil restrictor, head drain, extended sump and oil cooler. I will keep the revs down to 7800ish and just change gears to go faster (ha ha). I am thinking of reusing my 115k oil pump (shock horror), I measured it up and the clearances seem ok. My Question I have read a bit on this topic and what I can work out is it seems all crank driven oil pumps (even Jun) fail due to crank vibrations/harmonics through either high revs or rev limited induced harmonics. What do you think? If this is the case as long as I keep the revs down and don't sit on the rev limiter the standard pump (N1 pump with weaker relief spring) should be ok? Am I mad or does this sound OK
  17. My engine is getting machined there now, Darren's cool.
  18. G'day, If the guy doesn't come through with the money I'll have em
  19. G'Day, Is the oil cooler still available?
  20. G'Day, I need to upgrade my standard dumps. Even if you don't have em, all advice welcome. Thanks
  21. I Chipped the front lip of my balancer when I removed it and I have lost the key. (Dickhead) I am willing to pick up from Adelaide Metro Area. Thanks 0404 073 346 Michael
