hey i put 2 small bends in it so it would sit there better there only pretty little though , i used to work in a steel fab shop as i fitter and turner so was easy but i would say the whole job if u got a steel shop to supply, cut it and put the folds would only cost bout 50-60 bucks , thats excluding the slots they would cost a fair bit to get done

hey i made one for my rb25 motor and it was pretty dam simple all i did was get a bit of 4mm aluminium but lighter stainless or whatever u want woould do , i just measured in side on the cam covers with a set of verniers and then just measured the lenght with a tape and then marked out the holes by measurement for the bolts , got that to fit , and then just put it in the drill press and drilled a coulple of holes , then stuck it in the mill and completed the slots in the mill , if u havent got acesses to a mill you could do it with a jig saw or angle grinder and then tiny it up with a file ill post some pics of mine if i can took me about 2 hrs to make it up then fair bit or polishing , i hate polishing!

best ive ever got in my r33 gtst is bout 10.5l per 100 on highway , with good pod filter in box and cai ,and a very light foot that trip.

ive got a set of series 2 fibreglass ones that i bought and have never used or painted if any ones interested? $30 plus postage?

ive just used a few layers or spray can black paint to repaint my gtr one its seems fine cant pisck a difference cant say i put a temp prob in before or after though. power coat is pretty thick stuff , when thres a small gap say one or 2 mm on the ute trays i make sometimes if they put the power on thick enough it will bridge the gap? if that helps

hi currently running GT radials , Chamipros i think HPZ they are to top of the line ones and they are the grippist tires all round ive ever driven on in the wet dry what ever , dunno bout wear factor they have 1000k on them now and look pretty good still , the 400dollar toyos that i had on before dont even compare with the GT's

yeah i was running some stockies off a ba falcon not sure what size they were , pretty tall though think they were 225-65-or 75 r16 or something it took a while to get the last 50k in 5th though, so does any one know whats the second cut is? its not the rev limmter.

hey went for a drive this morning, and your right jutstar my r33 does bout 4800rpm at 180k Does any one know what the second speed cut or what ever it is that stops ya goin faster?????????

it shouldnt be reveing that hard im sure mine doesnt mine cuts out at 6500rpm in 5th , it like a second speed cut dunno what speed its doin bout its way off the clock somewhere , i have the speed cut on a switch mine sodest rattle at all at this speed been told by a commodore drive it was about 250?

Hi guys fairly new to all the forums stuff Basicly wondering which turbo would be the best for my 98 R33 RB25det i have all the basics mods done includeing , 3 dump pipe hi flow cat katimoto 3.5inch full system , gtr FMIC ,dual stage boost control ,023 intank pump , modified front mount manifold std throttle body , blitz sonic power pod filter with full enclosed box around it with cai , bov , have a brand new set of tomei pon cams with 262degree and 8.5mm lift not yet installed , and 600cc injector not yet installed , have apexi safc 2 and apexi sitc they were in car when got it An help apprecaited thanks trav ,im not looking for huge power just bit more punch and good response dont want a dyno queen lag monster
