  1. interesting. myne usually sits at 75-77 and only ever goes higher if thrashing it on a hot day (highest its ever hit is 81). got a pfc and i doubt it would have been over 80 when it was tuned, might explain a few things
  2. most likely be there
  3. tonight? got link?
  4. i just went to enzed and they had an adapter down to a smaller thread with a hose fitting on it. bit of high temp rubber hose and a fitting in the turbo
  5. touche
  6. my car runs way too cold aye. hottest its ever been is 82 degrees, raping it on a 40 degree day. when it pops, rebuild/replace. until then just service it regularly and keep it off limiter
  7. haha. thats so widely open to interpretation its a joke. how would ya be if you got hoon lawed for trying to break 80km/h on the freeway in a 120y for the first time in history
  8. i transfered my insurance over to a new car, increased the value and added a whole bunch of mads for no extra cost at all. not even a administration fee for changing car. with just car
  9. i needed longer ones to fit my spacer plate for the new turbo. mate hooked me up with some though metric man, fit perfectly and seam to be very good quality. they're 1.5mm pitch on the manifold side and 1.25 on the turbo side, cant remember what diameter.
  10. all the "bolt on" gt28, gt30s etc use a spacer plate between the stock manifold and turbo if your just after another stockie i just removed myne to upgrade and i live fairly close to you
  11. nope, garrett 5 bolt pattern
  12. So i just picked up a gt30 for my rb25, got everything except the lines and dump sorted. i've been ringing round few places (mtq, turbotech, ford etc) and i cant find a garrett 5 bolt flange to make up the dump pipe. anyone know where i can find one? Thanks
  13. larger, silvertop and 25 afm's are same diameter as z32, 80mm
  14. yer? the diff's start making lots of noise but they dont break easily, just whine louder and louder. gearbox all depends on how you drive, can kill it 100kw if your an idiot, but probably a good idea to get a 33 turbo box, 34 is pull type clutch which makes it harder as for the tailshaft with a 25 box, easiest way is to get a shop to put a vlt/33 yoke on your standard tailshaft, or if you wanna spend a bit more get a custom single piece made up
  15. coilpacks
  16. stock silo lsd's are crap, if it spins double now it wont for much longer once you start using it, a few rings and it'll spinning single, the diff itself will handle the power no worries
  17. i ask how you'd do it without increasing the boost and you say ur gna bolt on an ebc so the boost doesnt drop off, hence increasing the boost probably never get driven with stock turbo again anyway, will have a gt30 within the next few days
  18. how exactly? without increasing the boost it'd be the same as every other day for the last year not really worth it but myne made a touch more peak power on 15psi than it did on 13
  19. was shit to drive, really frustrating. baxically had to try keep it above 6k to get any power out of it, bit hard when it wouldnt rev past 7. bought a pfc, sorted it straight out. dyno graph with the pfc, only on 95 fuel and with fked coilpacks - http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd251/J...16082008042.jpg
  20. defect more old ladys driving magnas with steel on steel brakes and bald wanli's in the pouring rain...
  21. did you put the clamps and joiners on properly?
  22. just to add something hear. i've got a gt3076 .82 on the way atm, through MTQ. they assured me it was the proper version but after talking to the performance guy there it seams its a cropped 54mm turbine wheel. he insisted garret must measure in a different place to him and thats why its different....
  23. had 3 stock 25 turbos over 1 bar now and never killed one, current one (s1) whines hell bad but still boosts fine and holds 15psi
  24. lesson learnt? dont use a hammer to fix bonnet clearance issues.....
