  1. most dont bolt into the factory position. still work the same tho, with 2 fuel fittings and 1 vac fitting
  2. +1 for a leaner tune if all is good atm. 10.5:1 is a little rich
  3. according to filters elite the powerplus e85 is mixed with 110 race fuel and is $705 for a 200L drum
  4. 300+ from a highflow? with what housings? good result, looks a little late onto boost tho, what b/c you using?
  5. 1.1mm is a better gap, but theres not many stock coilpacks out there that'll fire that gap under full load. a temporary fix until you get better coils is to gap the plugs down until it stops blowing out spark. i used to have myne gapped down to .5mm with the standard coils
  6. neo's used the op6 aswell
  7. wont always knock from that but i'd expect a decent loss in power at least. +1 for incorrect reading, only way to be sure tho is to check it a few times with another sensor
  8. have you tried warmer plugs?
  9. rising rate regs rise exponentially, normal adjustable ones just let you adjust the base pressure. not sure about the magnaflow but most aftermarket regs simply arent as good as the standard one and also a waste of money/illegal if you dont need it.
  10. keep the stock reg if it works fine. if you somehow max the gtr injectors way short of your power goals (unlikely) then, and only then, should you consider an adjustable reg
  11. they can handle straight unleaded, e85 and any mix in between. they use a sensor in the fuel tank to tell the ecu exactly how much ethanol there is and adjusts the fuel and timing to suit. so if the supply is intended mainly for flex fuel cars it probably will vary a bit as it doesnt matter for those cars.
  12. how did it die? if the heads still good just throw on a 30 block and away you go. cheap and easy
  13. sounds like it'll be fine. yes its at the front of the plenum, usually has a sticker saying do not open when hot
  14. they also dont run 90kpa factory
  15. yes it can but you could create an airlock if its too high. try and keep it below the bleed bolt on the plenum
  16. 32 25de head on 30e block. use all your 20 stuff on that
  17. pretty sure the commodore is coming out in october
  18. so buy one. will be the cheapest and easiest to install
  19. i say the same thing to people all the time but everyone seams to think tuning is some dark magic that only workshops can do after 1000 years training. if you want to save money and learn a shitload along the way, buy a wideband and tune yourself, theres plenty of help around if theres anything you cant figure out.
  20. only if your getting excessive amounts of blowby and your sick of it coating your intake piping. if its not puffing dont worry about it
  21. those "bolt on" gt30s are not the type nismoid was reffering to as they realistically will never make 300rwkw. only a proper gt30 with a garrett housing will. and besides why the hell would you want to go to all the effort of buying a good turbo, changing lines etc then put a shithouse rear housing on it just to save the last few dollars on a spacer plate and dump pipe.
  22. try a known working CAS
  23. start searching and reading. theres shitloads of threads on this. highflow will make that sort of power, just. and does bolt on
  24. 30e's dont have an idler, only a tensioner. no reason you cant use one tho, even if it was a different thread (dont think it is) you have to drill and tap a hole for it anyway.
