  1. i think the reason for the lack of power aswell as the high injector duty is a very restrictive exhaust side. change to a .82 or 1.06 housing and make sure your exhaust isnt too restrictive
  2. how much boost are you running? and no the standard gauge is not in psi
  3. you dont make love to max power, you strap yourself in and feel the G's!!!
  4. .63 rear wont be doing you any favours
  5. standard injectors will support 300rwhp
  6. sounds locked
  7. using a cheap tranny cooler from super shit in the return line on my car. mounted it just behind the diff. i dont see how you'd be getting hot fuel in a drift car tho, it takes a long time at light load for even a 044 to start cavitating, not like drift cars are at 1-2% inj duty for long
  8. so the pfc was set up for 555s, you put in 650s without changing any settings then wonder why it runs like shit? if you have a wideband then put the pfc back in and set it up properly
  9. if its standard then just use 91 from wherevers cheaper/easier at the time. otherwise use whatever it was tuned on
  10. still doesnt save you from bad batches of fuel. i've been using bp98 since i've been doing my own tuning. filled up at bp kalamunda on saturday night and had to pull out 5 degrees of timing everywhere on boost just to stop it pinging badly, was still pinging lighty after that. 5 degrees is a ridculous amount between tanks of the same brand fuel. if it werent so far away i'd be going back and syphoning it back into their tanks hanaldo, with the standard ecu's in skylines, especially 33s there is no need whatsoever to run anything more than 91. the timing in the standard maps is beyond conservative.
  11. you cant copy other peoples settings, its different for every car. start with the gain and set gain set as low as they go, and set the limiter 3-4psi above your target boost and the % limiter thing down low. then start winding the boost up til you reach close to your target. then wind in gain until it spikes then back it off a touch. after all that set the start boost (set gain) to 2-3psi below your target boost, if it spikes set it a bit lower. if all else fails, find somewhere in your area who knows what they're doing to have a look for you
  12. as said heaps of timing everywhere off boost, makes a huge difference to the way it drives. as for afr's, simple rule is to aim for 13-13.5 at 0psi then ramp evenly to around 11.5 at peak boost then back to 12 to redline. for safety i tend to richen and retard the cells just on/after limiter a bit.
  13. nissan or 2nd hand one from a wreck
  14. ring the main police number and report just their hooning as a seperate incident. dont say you were following them
  15. got a 91 corrolla (or holden nova). only problem with them is the temp gauge reads from the bottom hose, it used to boil the radiator sitting on half and the thermo still hadnt come on... but bought a new radiator and fitted a manual switch for the thermo and now you could drive it round australia 5 times
  16. use their new hoon line to your full advantage. report their driving along reid hwy as hooning and get as many of your mates as you can to do the same. tell them they raced out of your street aswell at death defying speed
  17. dunno if its mentioned in those but to remove the coil pack loom from the coilpacks i usually put a flat head screwdriver in the gap at the top, push the tab and twist the screwdriver to lever them apart gently. last thing you want to do is break an expensive coil pack loom from pulling too hard on the plugs
  18. On the topic does anyone know of anywhere that sells T4 flanged twin scroll gt30 turbine housings? atp have a listing for it under housing options when buying a complete turbo but not in the serperate turbine housing lists, gonna email them when it comes time to buy but just curious who else sells them.
  19. congrats, now you have enough posts to PM
  20. i just hope it makes it to WA before i grow grey hairs
  21. car says 32. if its a rb20 then the stock actuator is 10psi, might get a touch more if you have a bigger exhaust etc. as stao said, try running a boost source directly to the actuator
  22. thats for a demerit suspension. if you get a court summons for something else and send in a guilty plea without attending they automatically start the suspension on the day of the hearing, without notifying you in any way. before you sign anything, make sure the suspension is actuall deserved, there was some major computer stuff ups last year with heaps of false/duplicate suspensions and demerits being issued
  23. what date is on the letter? did it say it has been suspended or is going to be? if it said its already suspended then ignore it, you've served your sentence 11 months ago
  24. download the fc-edit demo for samples of power fc maps, just dont use them http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/FC%20Edit%20DEMO.zip
  25. nope, switches on as soon as you touch the throttle. the switch points vary with load
