  1. aslong as you make up a nice bellmouth style dump it holds boost fine. i'm running 17psi with a profec and it holds fine. when i first got it all together i still had a turbotech manual controller, that didnt work too well.....20psi untuned ftl
  2. and make sure the oil feed/return is as close to vertical as you can get it (do this by rotating the exhaust housing and trial fitting). and as said, dont put the oil return at the top.....
  3. i have an internal gate 3076, it holds boost fine if you make the dump properly. i'm making 250rwkw at 17psi. all in around 3900 on the road. if i was going to do it again i'd go external from the start
  4. check the afm plug and wiring, sounds like its in limp mode (afm disconnected)
  5. put nismos in myne, easy to install and car ran perfectly on the same tune once i changed the settings in pfc. never had any experience with sard but as said, for the little extra go nismos if you can
  6. same thing in my car, brake fluid was getting low. top it up. afaik dot 4 is just a newer standard of fluid, says on the bottle its 100% compatible with dot 3
  7. what makes you say the current tune is far from decent? how much boost are you running?
  8. if its broken it can go in in the wrong spot very easily. i broke the keyway on the cam side on my motor, just need to slide it in carefully and get it in the right spot
  9. s1 25det in hr31, big copper yoshio radiator, same size as aus spec 31 i think. 330rwhp and runs too cold, low to mid 70s most of the time
  10. hpr 15
  11. thinking of an ironmask dr30? looks good, nice dr
  12. hottest ever was 82C on a 40 degree day bouncing off limiter. usually mid to low 70s
  13. pull the plugs out and check the gap, if its 1.1mm then gap them down a bit
  14. possibly a rb20det-r from a gts-r
  15. what type of plug and what gap?
  16. no it wont work, not without lots of screwing around. buy a gtr ecu
  17. 33s run an electronic speedo and the signal goes straight to the cluster afaik, then a wire runs from there to the ecu to tell it when the cars moving. to adjust the speedo with the vipec it'd need to be wired in between the gbox and the cluster
  18. quick question. i was using bcp6es-11 gapped down to .8, have been for ages with no troubles at all on stockish motors. put a gt30 and other stuff on my 25 and just before the tune put in some bkr7e's after reading about them on here. car didnt make as much power as it should however thats probably caused by other things. car was running fine at first and allways runs fine on cooler days/nights, but when its slightly warmer it misses pretty hard occasionaly under full load on high boost (17psi). could this be the colder plugs? or something else? have splitfires which are near new, good condition ignitor, only think that hasnt been changed is the coilpack loom.
  19. is it pinging or missing?
  20. if a workshop installed the dump/front then take it back to them and tell them whats happened, if they've broken something they should replace it.
  21. yer 440cc, just dont ask nissan for a price on them if you want to live a long life.... wrx injectors also fit and are 440cc
  22. run what in?
  23. i shoved myne through with the main wiring loom
  24. look at the turbo (this round thingy hanging off the passenger side of the motor), theres a metal rod going from the back of it to a round thing on the front of the turbo (this is an actuator). there'll be a small rubber hose coming out of this, somwhere along this hose cut it and put the mbc in there with the wastegate end on the actuator side of the mbc
  25. dont laugh at balga, we got some sick cars up here.....
