  1. no worries, i was wondering if this intro trackday course would be less suitable for you given that you've already got experience out there (on two wheels). i think that the High Performance course that i have organised for November would appeal to you more. will keep you in the loop for that one. the interest that has been generated here on SAU has been awesome and we're really pleased that people are enthusiastic for this sort of event. thanks!
  2. thanks for sending the deposit Krishy - it's not cleared into the account this morning, but i'll keep an eye out for it and confirm when it does. with regard to the $235 balance of payment - we'll soon be emailing out the John Bowe Driving course registration forms to everyone who has placed a deposit for this trackday course. you'll need to send that back to them with your details (name, vehicle, rego, etc) and preferably pay them the $235 directly (cheque, credit card, money order). they may have a bank account available for direct deposit, but i need to check that. cheers
  3. because of the overwhelming enthusiasm here, i've increased the number of SAU spots to twelve (12) i'm just about to send Luke the details for lodgement of the deposit so that he can PM everyone on the list, incl Krishy
  4. lol, very funny if the Supra guys don't fill the spots that i have allocated to them in the next week or two, i'll transfer them over for SAU folk here. the best way to secure your place is to pay the deposit after Luke and i PM the bank details to those on the list later this week. please note that this is an introductory track event so if you have done full speed circuit days before, then the full High Performance driving courses may be more suitable. remember that it is between a Level 1 and Level 2B course
  5. Luke and i will send out the bank details when the list fills up. 1. Heslo 2. nightcrawler 3. writeoff 4. scandyflick ?. SkyHi 33 6. RubyRS4 7. Luke ENR34 8. Hostile 9. 10.
  6. this course isn't for the hardcore track junkies out there so a roll cage is definitely not a requirement, nor is a helmet in this instance. it is meant to bridge the gap between a basic defensive driving course (like the ones held regularly at AIR where u do emergency dry/wet braking etc) and the private trackdays where u are pretty much let loose on the track with minimal instruction. there will be more emphasis on corner entry-exit technique, car control, and motorkhana stuff. it will be particularly useful for those drivers who really haven't been out on the racetrack before and don't want to be overrun by the time attack monsters.
  7. thanks for posting this up Luke! we hope that this will be a good introduction to trackdays for many people and will fill the gap between the newbie defensive driving courses (eg. Drive to Survive / Drive to Live) and the more demanding instructor led trackdays like the High Performance trackday you went on. this Advanced course will then allow people to satisfy the entry requirements for the regular High Performance courses that John Bowe Driving run at Mallala several times every year. places are limited, so put your name on the list to secure your spot. Heslo and i will PM those on the list the details for payment of the $150 deposit which is due by June 25th.
  8. met HURRYUP on Marion Road this evening - nice plates funnily enough, i was in the V35
