Spotted GTR-3 on the Hume Frw going towards melbourne..

Hey peepz, the thread was started to first gauge interest in how many people would be interested. Obviously things like a dyno would have to be organised, and im sure the total price of a remap would include all the costs, dyno cost, flight costs. i will discuss all this with toshi and try organise a dyno at a workshop before anything goes ahead. So at the moment, we want to see how many people would be interested in getting the remap, no point of going to all the troubles in organising something if no one wants it. But if you have a read through some threads about Toshi's remaps, they are definetly a fantastic alternative to getting an ecu upgrade. Everyone's feedback about toshi and his remaps have been excellent. Watch this space

hey graeme.. you know now that you have to write the report up and the conversation you had with the driver... what if you cant remember what you said.. do you make it up.. caus my mate is being taken into court for driving with a suspended licence and i was reading the conversation and it was nuthing like what happened on the night... the police officer made my mate sound lyk a cocky wanker... and i assume this will play a part when the judge decides what action he takes..

i don't think he does the R33 Remaps, he installs a daughter board on the R33 ecu making it live tuneable... and that costs over 1k plus tune costs.. or else id be happy to go to him for a remap..

who else in melbourne would be interested in a toshi remap? if there is a big interest then maybe we can bring toshi over for a weekend or something...

Anyone Want To Organise A Group Buy On 4 Stud Wheels
J3TR33 replied to J3TR33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
its probably good to avoid importing wheels at this stage, as the aussi dollar is shit house, anyway is anyone interested in the wheels in the first post or any other wheels the ebay seller is selling, or anyother suggestions if not then might as well close this topic. -
Ey peepz, recently there has been a few people around asking for 4 stud wheels for their NA machines. And it came into my head that it would be a good idea if a group buy could be organized on 4 stud wheels, to save time for the rest of the people searching for some and maybe save a bit of dosh as well. There isn't much variety when it comes to 4 stud, i have found a few rims from an ebay seller, they come in packages. If we get a lot of people interested then maybe we can deal with that guy. So at the moment if there is enough interest and some1 has spare time to organise a group buy or find another company/seller to deal with then it would be good. Final confirmation on sizes, offsets and all the wheels available could be organised when the group buy is started. I thought it would be better to post it in the NA section than the group buy as more people might look at it here. Thanks Here is a link on his ebay page: Ebay Website Edit: Sorry cant edit the size of the pictures, it defaults to original sizes

New Exhaust Too Loud, How To Lower Noise?
J3TR33 replied to Awesome's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
who else thinks that this new noob is having all of us on... whats next, u gona get the resenator on and then u will say its too quiet i want it louder, how do i do it.. LOL GTS4WD u really can tell the future, whats your next prediction haha -
its not an engine modification so all the rules that apply to every other driver will apply to you as well when it comes to exhausts. i.e it must not go over 89 or 90 DB loud.. not sure check with EPA everyone suggests 2.5 inch mandrel bent for a NA skyline, just get an exhaust shop to weld you a 2.5 inch cat-back pipe to a canon and bobs ur uncle. it will cost ya around $300 u didn't find anything about it being p-plate legal for a car caus it doesnt exist. welcome to SAU, before posting a question next time, search the forums or GOOGLE it.. ta

Put in a straight through 4" Inch exhaust, no cat, biggest cannon you can find and it will sound tuff and will be legal : Or if you dont wana hear anymore sarcastic responses lyk that use the search button.. Seems lyk the NA section is just covered with topics about exhausts... GAHHH IBTL

Basically he lost because they damaged all his fliers n shyt.. It shows how racist they are. I think he has the balls n the brains to CHANGE the states for da better.

i have asked the question about house prices to a few of my lecturers.. and they have said to wait for a year or 2 before buying a house, as house prices are very likely to fall. Or you could buy a house, live in it yourself and rent out two of the rooms. So then your basically living rent free, and paying of the house with the rent money you receive and the money you would have spent on rent. Im not sure if this is possible, but its something that iv been thinking about as well.

here is a video frm youtube... Auto Salon 2008 Btw: Nice car Shaun.. and well done on the display.. it looked tops...
-
well how about you post some prices and where these guys are... or maybe you could organize better prices since they are a "sponsor".. if its double or tripple the price of these guys.. why would i bother, im not entering in any car shows any tym soon
-
that FAT200 S15 is my mates car and i agree he should have taken it for a professional polish before the autosalon but it was a last minute decision to enter.. i personally thought it was one of the better S15's on the day... here is another pic of the whole car there was only a few cars there that turned heads.. and the models were pretty average
-
i have personally had my skyline repaired by them and they do a bloody good job... they are a bit expensive with repairs but they are very thorough and chris explains everything and why it might be more expensive at his joint... no short cuts i guess as for the cut & polish.. it was on special at one stage for $69 lol.. which is ridiculously cheap should be taking my car in there soon as it has a few marks n scratches ppl should post before and after pics of their cars to give a better idea of the quality
