  1. hey just thought id start the same thread as the one in NSW. I know its copying, lol but it seems like a good idea and a good way to network. And it gives a headsup to students at Uni or tafe and what they can expect in a particular industry. Well im a second year Uni student, doing a double major in Accounting and Economics at Monash Berwick. Still not sure whether Accounting would be challenging or boring as everyone says lol. If there are any Accountants on here give me an insight in your typical day. Cheers

    Spotted Thread

spotted 2 white R33 skylines in Shepparton on Saturday nyt.. One had a black hood with bodykit, the other pretty stock and just rims.. both plates seemed similar.. Nutr33 or something.. btw i dont live in shepparton and im pretty sure i had spotted these cars in melb as well.. peace
  4. LOL im at monash berwick.. youve probz seen me there... black s2 r33 with the front mount... and i also went to la trobe might as well post on that thread too hihihi... laters bro
  5. yeh got to agree with the above 2 posts... im looking at a brake upgrade soon... oh and also new tyres lol.. myne still have thread on them but they loose traction like crazyyy.. i cant trust my car in the wet at all... if i go slightly turn a corner or accelerate a bit it will spin out... i think wider or thicker tyres should do the trick...
  6. hey fellow NA skyliners.. this post is probz long overdue.. The Turbo Conversion is finnally finished as of two days ago. At first i was planning to do it myself with help from a guy on these forums. But things changed so i ended up taking the car to a mechanics joint near my area. The car feels awesome and drives so much better than a stock turbo skyline. Its running 8-9 Psi on stock turbo and stock ecu. Boost kicks in much quicker because of high comp.. and then kicks you back again at higher revs... kinda freeky... i member DAN666 was talking about this and its happening to me as well Lol... There was a few headaches with the water and oil lines... there was no provisions on the block so they all had to be taken from somewhere.. Il post pics up soon... and a dyno printout once i get it dynoed.. One problem i am having with is its that its surging... the stock exhaust isnt getting the exhaust gases out quicker so there is a build up causing the surging... so need to upgrade the exhaust and should be smooth sailing for a while... thanks everyone for their useful knowledge and info... and the guys at RVO Performance in Dandy Sth for the conversion...
  7. nice rims bro.. how much you gona pay for them.. there was another style in the Lenso wheels at Ttf similar to those but with 6 spokes that i wana get.. they look good on black cars Imo
  8. hi mate i know of 2 wreckers near the area.. One is in Oakleigh.. kangaroo road, he has a lot of stuff in there. And the other one is in Dandy South, Type M Imports, which is located on Marni Street, off Hammond Road. You will almost be guaranteed to find what your looking for at the one in Oakleigh, he has stuff that he doesnt even know he has lol. 11. yeh there is, and im pretty sure its my thread... but that only answers one of my questions about the oil feed line.. thers still a few things im not sure about, and hence i thought you guys might know the answers to cheers
  12. yeh but myne didnt have the oil feed line bung at all.. myne is a series 2 engine.. but dnt think that makes a difference. and the rest of the lines we didnt bother looking into caus we had to figure out how to get the oil feed line first.
  13. hey need the input of turbo gurus here.. im doing a turbo conversion on my R33 and just wanted to know answers to a few things. Firstly is it better to t-piece the oil feed line from the oil pressure sender or tap n drill? How many restrictors would i need, and what size are they? Is the oil return already on the NA block or would i have to weld a fitting on the sump? And are the provisions for the water lines on the NA blocks or do they have to be t-pieced as well from somewhere? Any feedback or answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  14. hey as the title says i need a stock front/dump pipe for a R33 Skyline. Need it asap and im located in Melbourne S.E Suburbs. Msg me with pic and total price including postage. If local i can pick up thanks.
  15. as above, i got jibbed and was sent the wrong ecu.... iv attached a pic of the serial numbers of my ecu... if its what ur after make an offer.. cheers
  16. hey ppl, I went to the import place where my car was purchased and asked the mechanic about it. And basically he said that most NA's have the oil feed casted of from the inside of the block. And the best way would be to drill and tap. Ok so im thinking il do this. Anyone have any clue of who i can get to do this, like professionally, i definetly dont want to risk doing it myself. Tried googling it but not much luck. thanx albii
  17. yeh, thats what has been suggested, either that or drill the hole through. Im still stumped as to why it is blocked off. If i cant get the original position working then i will resort to these options. But still want to do more research before going ahead.
  18. hey people how u going, i have a thread in the NA section about doing a turbo conversion on my R33 NA. Now that has already been discussed and i know wat im getting into so i dont need anymore info on how bad this is to do and shit. Well i am having problems with the oil feed line. I was told in the NA engine it should already be on the block and that it is just blocked off by a blanking plug. But on myne it didnt have a blanking plug and no oil was leaking. Here is the link to the thread discussing the oil feed line. Oil Line Thread I thought maybe someone in this section could have a better idea of why this is the case with my engine and how can i go about getting the oil feed. Cheers
  19. hey peepz, havent been on in ages so yeh jst a reply.. here are pics from GTS4WD and Eug... hoepfully some1 can identify which lines are wat and if they can be found on the NA block... Also wat other options do i have, i dont want to drill holes into my block,.
  20. i paid for the sidemount n something else last week and still no reply from you. I pm'ed you 2wice, have you sent the stuff or am i getting jibbed here...
  21. ahh the seller still hasnt made contact back with me, he told me the wrecker sold him a half cut and this ecu came out of it. Fken dodgy bastards. i have contacted admins but still no reply. hey eug, is it possible for you to get in touch with admins or do something about it. Or this is not something u can do anything about. jst need to know wat to do next thats all.
  22. thanks heaps everyoone, hopefully with everyones knowledge we can solve this problem, and i hope it doesnt take too long lol. This is from a guy who done the conversion to his car, hopefully it will help when ppl are looking at their blocks and even myne once we try to do it again. You will find the big oil return plug just above the sump on the exhaust side, its a fair size, you just use a 1/2 inch (from memory) socket drive and unscrew it, the oil feed is a small bolt thats in the side of the block a little further up directly above the oil return mate. Unscrew both and make sure you use copper washers on your oil feed banjo bolt, or oil will piss out everywhere. cheers, albii
