    I have seen one around here in Sydney (convertible), so some have arrived. My business partners brother is also on the waiting list for one after smashing his 360 last year, and the inital wait was 12 months.

    Which blue GTR are you referring to? Pic? TUFGTR ran an 11.2 (using a standard box) at WSID a few weeks ago. It was making 415awkw at the time. Not surprised the owner doesn't know what is done to the engine as he comes from a V8+auto drag racing background and knows very little about Japan cars. He went for a test drive at Autostyle and was hooked.

    There is a company called "Touch Up Guys" with mobile vans and they do exactly this sort of work. Sorry, don't have any contact details, but whitepages will have this info.

    As Duncan said above, octane boosters only raise the octane level of fuel one or two tenths of a point (0.1 to 0.2) at best. They are a waste of money and would be better sending the $20 or $30 on regular fuel instead, whilst running less boost and not loading the engine too much. Retarding the timing is the best insurance against detonation.

    From what has been posted, it smells like bearings. My engine is doing the same thing. Slight knock at about 3000 rpm. I wouldn't drive the car at all as has been said, the more you do so the more damage to the engine and your pocket.
