Thanks for that, Daniel Will try it and let you know how it goe4s. SSS_Hoon, I think you will find that most drag cars have the ABS removed. Also, please enlighten us on how to get around the lack of ABS and also on the weight saving? Might as well kill two birds with the one stone.

Starts wil L and ends in n? We had a great day today, the first time I had been to a non-drag (inter)national racing meet. Sat at Turn 1 for the first race and Turn 12 for the second race. Funniest part of the day was when a couple of mates were talking to the Premier and Emerson Fittipaldi (?) with the Shiekh next to them. One of them wanted to take a photo with the premier and Fittipaldi and casually hands the camera to the Sheikh (not knowing who he was) and asked him to take a photo of them. The Shiekh took it in his stride and agreed to take the photo. Judging by the pic, I don't think he has ever used one before.

I have no problems with the call to cancel the event. You cannot satisfy everyone when making such a decision but it was definitely justified. Even if it didn't rain, the track wasn't in any shape for some of the quicker cars that were ready to race. Bring on the next day. I will be there with bells on - driving not trailering.

Sensors are still fitted, ABS unit itself has been removed by previous owner in Japan.

Adam, what is the rain date?

I need to know how to get the 4WD to work on an R32 GTR that has had the ABS unit removed. The 4WD and ABS dash lights are on and the error code flashes to indicate a problem with ABS (error code 8). All other sensors are still in place except for the ABS unit. I have also just fitted programmable aftermarket ECU. Any ideas?

I predict that I will be lucky to even get a time. Still only a slim chance that the car will be ready. If not, then the Pajero will get a few runs in It should run a [email protected]
