  3. oh yeah: http://www3.stream.co.jp/web06/nissan/pres...ent_20en-bb.asx GTR is at the 7 min mark
  4. Photos of the official release at Tokyo Motor Show: http://blog.gtroc.com/dino/
  5. Congrats on both the dyno figure and the 1/4 mile time. I am sure that there is plenty of room for improvement with that MPH.
  6. just wear one of those clear rain jackets (like in American Psycho).
  7. There is one in Carlingford that I have been to that might be suitable.
  8. Yum Yum. Might be in.
  9. Unbelievable!
  10. I think that [R34] has been there for a while at the dealers. Either that or it likes to hang out there
  11. Maroon R32 GTR heading west on Blaxland Rd Eastwood @ 7:15pm MEG **H plates
  12. What are your 60 ft times like?
  13. Only if you feel like waiting a few weeks for them to be shipped from overseas. Not to mention the fact that you don't get any warrranty with them. They retail for $990 in Aus.
  14. Since everything else has been covered, I will add that standard R34 GTR wheel is 18 x 9 with a +30 offset and these fit on an R32 GTR
  15. Sounds good.
  16. Well said, Abo. Alot of info and explanation that makes sense there. Can we get a list of cars/people racing (even non-SAUers)?
  17. Definitely agree there. We don't need another repeat of an earlier workshop private day that had hundreds of extra spectators roaming about the place without the additional staff and facilities to accommodate them. But I am sure that this won't be the case with the SAu people as was evidenced by the last drag day that was held.
  18. I thought so - just needed you to confirm the dodginess! :D
  19. who was this dodgy builder?
  20. before a power fc I would change the stock turbos (unless they have already been rebuilt with steel exhaust wheels).
  21. I agree with alot of the above statements. Don't bother with importing one from Japan if you only have $23K. There are at least 20 R32 GTR's in the classifieds every week. You can inspect and drive them personally, as well as get a professional written report on the car's condition (NRMA etc). Why take the risk when you can play it on the safe side and get one of the many that are available here already? Eliminate the risks involved importing it to Aus that have been absorbed by someone else importing it here and take on the limited risk of buying one local.
  22. I think you might even find two Trust 6 speeds for sale.
  23. I just quoted what was written in the first post of this thread. What BU5TER said doesn't surprise me. I would think that paying the extra $100 should allow extra spectators, but I wouldn't hold my breath when it comes to WSID's rules and their private track hire policy. We are lucky that they are even allowing us to have a private day. Why haven't they realised that they could make even more money by at least allowing more cars to race.
  24. Silver R32 GTR with bronze TE37's on Campbell Pde Bondi Beach at about 6pm.
  25. GTR problems aren't always so easily 'solvered'.
