Just wondering if he has got to a VR4 twin cam head or still with the factory sohc. If you have seen his engine bay it wouldnt be too hard to notice which way he has gone.

Was anything done to the block to strengthen it at all or was it just a std N1 block? great result with the HP figure.

WHAT!? They aren't just for looks. When I buy my Ferrari, I will be caning it. After all, that is why they were built. But I wouldn't buy a Spyder anyway. My best mate's brother in law has(had) a 360 and he absolutely canes the pants out of the thing. Unfortunately he recently crashed it. That is my ultimate GTR. When can you get it here?

Past few days I have spotted a white R33 GTR with R34 Wheels heading north on Stacey St, Bankstown at 6:15 am

I had always thought that the intrusion bar had to be welded in, but a mate of mine has run a 9 with a 6 point cage that only had a bolted in driver's side intrusion bar.

I received import approval for a Jan 1990 car three weeks ago. The only documents that were requested from DOTARS were a certified copy of my ID and an invoice (which was dated in August, despite my agent having bought the car in May). They didn't even want the dereg paper, but I sent it in anyway. I wasn't asked for any proof of purchase or wire transfer documents. According to section 20(1)(B) of the Motor Vehicle Standards Act 1989 and regulation 17 of MVS Regulations, import approval is given on the basis that the vehicle: - was manufactured before 1 January 1989; or - was manufactured before 1 January 1991; and - you made a financial commitment and purchased the vehicle prior to 7 February 2005; and - the application to import was made before 1 January 2006; and - that the vehicle was 15 or more years old at the time that the application to import was made. I have continually received emails from import brokers for 15 year old cars still in Japan with claims that import approval has been or will be supplied with the cars, so it can and is still being done under the 15 year rule.

Apparently the R34 GTR [TURBOS] was imported already modded from Japan and the owner returned it to stock, complied it, then refitted everything. Either way, has huge power and sounds tough as nails. I guess with such big power, lag is expected, but it is an animal. Tommy, tell me more about its set up - what ecu/turbos/clutch/box?
