  1. Ben, the HPI records list might have something to do with the use of a drag radial: http://www.hpi.com.au/drag_records.php From that MPH, the 300 is capable of being no.1 and a flat 10, high nine is possible. Alot of cars were getting loose last night, as were the bracket meet cars on Sunday. Apparently due to the resurfacing of the track last week.
  2. GTR8TD GTRR8D
  3. There was a 1999 R34 GTR MPII colour and a 2000 R34 GTR MPIII colour released in limited numbers.
  4. Congrats on the [email protected] is plenty left in the 300.
  5. I thought they were stickers? Might have to take the rear wing off though for the proper (de)riced look.
  6. What times were run by Theo on these, Stace? And 60's?
  7. Its the limited edition (300 only) Midnite Purple II from the 1999 R34 GTR.
  8. What are you doing Butch?!?
  9. Compliance for the 350GT will be available from a few places in Sydney in the coming weeks (if not already). Excellent value for money.
  10. It was advertised for 19.5K without rwc or compliance. But now claims to have been sold for 19K. I wish I could buy and sell a car that I don't even own that fast lol. Nice pic in the ad there now: http://firesport.ipspace.com/item_images/24585.jpg
  11. I noticed this too. I like his genuine reason for the sale, too.
  12. Yes, it was on yahoo japan auctions.
  13. The worst part of the impoound law is that the suspected/alleged offender is dealt instant punishment in the loss of his/her vehicle solely on the basis of the police officer's discretion. A much better law would have the offender booked/fined and the car impounded after it is actually proved that he was street racing - not purely based on unsubstantiated police discretion. But that won't have the impact that the lawmakers and police are after. Not that it has really worked as the illegal drags continue like they have done for the past 50+ years
  14. Care to share on the actual sell price?
  15. WOW, it took only a few days to get to the UK from Japan since the auction ended last week.
  16. Apparently the ar sold for 7 million yen, which equates to $84,000AUD. It is said to have had 13 million yen spent on it. Bargain! Someone in the UK is going to be a very happy man.
  17. Did J-Spec buy this car? is it coming to Aus? Simply the best R34 GTR I have seen.....

    Is It Just Me?

I think that all the pages from AUS that go to microsoft have an incorrect link. It would usually start in the form of: "http'http://" and hence the error.
  19. Well if it is old news and does't work, why then is this clown Mr Scruby who is the boss of the PEDESTRIAN Council getting publicity about it in the SMH? You'd think he'd have better things to do. nmcmahon83, scruby already has a legion of "fans" who would like to do a lot more than just throw something at him The Australian Drivers Group come to mind as his greatest "fans".
  20. Richie, take it easy mate, leave some good parts for the rest of us lol
  21. What if the director doesn't have a licence? I assume the rules will be different from state to state, with this article being NSW based. Yes, this isn't a new loophole or anything, but the article I posted is highlighting the fact that it is going to be looked at, with the push ironically being led by the Pedestrian Council of Australia.
