  1. I don't think the HKS gear is available anymore. But the GRID TS Dancer costs about 50,000 yen. So should be under $1K landed (if not also installed).
  2. Also, what are those two rectangular caps for if they are totally sealed units? I have 3 others interested in these. Thanks, Charlie.
  3. What about warranty? Will there be a receipt issued? What do they retail for? Brand name? Sorry for the questions, but the other buyers would like this info. Also, how soon can we get them?
  4. bah, it's only paint. Any good painter can do it and most paint suppliers that know what they are doing can mix it, especially with the mix recipe given to them . But there are also other companies that can mix it for you. I am going to see QSR soon about it. My cousin is painting his Forrestor in a new Candy Purple this week. I will have a sample mix soon enough. What colour are you using now?
  5. It doesn't cost a "few thousand" to fit an adjustable torque-split controller
  6. Why not just install a HKS ETC or a Grid TS Dancer? Much easier and you will have adjustability at your fingertips.
  7. And I have found the recipe for MP III, Rezz Schweeet. Wanna translate that for me, too? I agree, surely Dupont Australia could get it from Dupont Japan? Also, this paint is nothing new, it's 5-6 years old, so surely someone other than Dupont has the mix.
  8. Paul, I walked into my local panel shop and he looked up the paint codes for all 3 MP colours. He had both the R33 MP #LP2 and the R34 MP II #LV4 on his computer, but he couldn't find the MP III #LX0 (very hard to get, apparently). Any local paint shop should be able to help. If not, I can get it for you. OR, you might want to look at this thread as Rezz translated that colour mixing pdf for the R34 MP II (#LV4) in this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=57403 PS, thanks for that link, as I also found the mix code for the MP III!!! I have been searching for that for quite a while.
  9. By the time you are 25, they will be as common and as cheap as R32's. :D
  10. I've seen 5 schoolkids in a Festiva roll it on a straight road. Not pretty. Looks like he was around the corner up that street from the T-intersection and lost the rear, hit the curb at 45 degrees. Not much distance there, but look at the damage.
  11. How do they compare performance-wise to the Odyssey? Who makes these? I have a couple of people who are also interested but need more info. Can you provide definite specs? Charlie.
  12. Cheap wheels. Well done, they look great.
  13. Already have battery boot-mounted
  14. Then just use an RB25 box. It's been done quite a few times already.
  15. Spotted south-bound on Centenary drive Flemington at 7:45pm: Yellow R33 GTS-t with white mags, body kit and MYLINE plates.
  16. R32 boot mounted.
  17. Brad, you do realise that these cars are driving on public streets. Therefore, anyone who 'spots' them will be able to tell what their plates are and what bodykit is on it - including any potential thief. I know that I personally recognize cars by their plates. Also, most of the cruise pics have number plates exposed anyway for all to see. But I do understand your point.
  18. Interested in one.
  19. Is the car now running extremely rich and idling rougher?
  20. What Motec set up was used on that R32?
  21. bastards! Hope it's not too bad.
  22. If its the rear lip spoiler, JMS in Adelaide sell fibreglass copies for $150 - but they dont have the cut outs to fit under the factory spoiler.
  23. Fair enough, but surely the seller is the one to blame for taking a deposit and then selling the car to someone else. I have had the exact same thing happen to me. I didn't blame the guy who bought it, but rather the guy selling it as legally, the deposit makes the sale a binding contract. I let it go and just took it on the chin. Did you at least get your deposit back? I don't agree with what the notion that he may have intentionally bought the car knowing that you had already put a deposit on it, but any blame lies in the hands of the seller. Anyway, build a bridge guys. It's only a car.
  24. Are you a potential buyer? Too many knockers around here. The fact remains, the car ran a 10.8 and is being sold in the same guise as it was when it ran this time. I don't see him denying any of these "facts". Reasonable enough explanation.
