Was it an R33 GTR, Matt? Insurance companies aren't stoopid. Do the right thing and insure it under your name or if someone else has a financual interest in it (ie parent) then at least have yourself listed as a nominated driver. I have done this with my younger brother before so he can drive any of my cars.

Just to clarify: coils come with looped (in series) positive wiring from coil to coil. I was using the trigger (-ve) wires off the Microtech loom. No other wiring comes with these. Found an old pic:

I don't have the original wiring and I am not sure if there is a plug there but will check with the sparky who fitted it to confirm as the car is in the workshop. Wiring shouldn't be an issue either way as I was using the Microtech loom. Not hard to do either way. Price was reduced accordingly...

I will have to check to see if it has any wiring and plug. Straightforward to install.
