  1. Sydney Dragway uses the 0.000 reaction times as the perfect time (which equate to an actual 0.400 RT). Anything less (<0.000) is a redlight (ie <0.400 actual RT). Non of the above has an effect on your ET. It only matters in determining who wins the race.

    Drag Day

Guys & Girls, Aaron also 'greased the wheels' to make this day happen sooner rather than later (if at all). Thanks, mate.

Steve, just in case you missed it (I know you have the flu ), 1320ft is an ANDRA official and has made himself available (ie volunteered) to be there on the day. I am sure that he will be happy to answer any questions. Looking forward to this day. If I don't have a car ready, I will gladly put up my hand to help on the day.

I can't believe they let a Starion owner onto SAU

Steve, As per my offer earlier, I am happy to help possibly get around any issues.

    Update?
  7. Mate, Paul is well aware of the situation (and I have spoken/sms'd/left messages to him many, many times about it) and I am sure he knows what must be done. Perhaps you could quietly remind him again when you see/speak to him next. Thank you.
  8. I believe Advan is/has done a 4WD VH41 or 45 into an R32 GTR...Saw some pics a while back.
  9. Supa Steve, Can you ask your mate, Paul, to either call me and/or send me my oil pump please. He seems to be uncontactable.
  10. So, changed your mind yet, Marko?
  11. Marko, I hate to be picky, but I will... you also did the same thing in your opening post. . Must be an inherent anomaly with the Blackberry. I'd get it checked. PS, withheld would be a better word PSS, I am keen to try E85 when I finally get my car finished.
  12. Time to get a new tuner

Exactly. August is plenty of notice.
  14. Quaife actually have 'upgraded' the layshaft at one point, but it still isn't perfect, hence the reason for trying to rectify this issue 'aftermarket'.
  15. And the Drag Day? What about a Dyno Day?
  16. 8.655 - as much as I would like to see it done, somehow I don't think it will happen. Excellent work in making this thread and with what you have done with the car, Matt.
  17. You won't get much change out of $6.5K for a new gearset and box rebuild. Anyway, pics will be up tomorrow night.
  18. Spoke to both Sydney Guard Rolling and PhillB Enterprises (who is on this forum). Both charge $60/guard, however, PhillB has a discount for this month of $180 for 4 guards and he was available at the time I needed so I went with him.
  19. How did you go, El? I need a decent guard rolling mob very soon.

    I N !
  21. Spotted, waved, & beeped the Handleys 'cruising' in their yellow GTR race car in traffic very early this morning in Carlingford
  22. A couple of PM's responded to. Pics will be sent/posted in the next couple of days.
  23. I think the point is that Zubra appeared to knock the car's startline performance notwithstanding the fact that it was the first time out. If I had spent such long hours, huge effort and ot to mention a load of money on such a car, I too would be taking it easy launching it on the first pass, if not the first couple of meets. The mention of PRO TREE has absolutely no relevance as this was effectively a 'shake-down' pass. But some people like to be the ultimate wiseguys. Leave it for the wasteland. I am sure that with a few more passes under its belt and when it gets to a Pro tree race it will be sorted - as with almost all new chassis' and engine combinations - it takes time and trial & error to get a car of this calibre tuned to do what it needs to do.
